Mini Me Kick Out Club Part 2 - Kunlun Mt. Family Titles

After ChengYu safely escorted the two youngsters to Kunlun Mount, time didn't even go by any faster at all. In fact MoYuan has started giving them assignments to do and ChengYu took this time to rest a bit since she had spent too much time helping LianSong in the historical archive. A'Li was already used to all the course load that his lord father, Yehua and grandfather, Tianjun so he didn't complain much. After his lord father takes over the throne, he will be the next in line to inherit it. So working hard and studying hard is a must for him. He was proud of doing so.

But as for Gungun she is used to going to school in the mortal realm and she normally studies the same topics over and over again. Since her appearance doesn't really age and they constantly kept moving to different places to avoid suspicions from the mortal. She is used to being a bit lazy in the subject of studying after a few years of repeating the same level. Especially when her mother is also a lazy one in school when she was younger, herself. Like people always say, like mother like daughter.

Since Donghua only spent a short amount of time with Gungun before the incident, he never had the chance to even evaluate her education. So Gungun being a good and hardworking child has turned into a lazy little girl just like her mother Fengjiu. Especially when all the elders are all doting on this youngest in the Bai family. Everyone is giving her everything they can since now she is the only little princess in line as the successor of Qingqiu and her parents are around with her.

Her only favorite subject is history just like her mother, because it has all the information regarding her father that her mother never told her about. It seems like in MoYuan's library there isn't much historical book on the great Donghua Dijun at all. Gungun just didn't want to just sit and do her assignments anymore so she just explored the whole Kunlun Mount by herself. She had transformed into her fox form since it was easier for her to run around and sneak past all those disciples. Not a lot of people have seen her true form yet and she is much more adorable than her mother.

She came upon the lotus pond where BaiQian used to hang around and took care of the golden lotus which was Yehua at that time. She found it quite nice around this area so she decided to take a nap under the sun. As the sun goes down, A'Li, ChengYu and all the disciples including MoYuan were searching all over for the little fox. No one ever expected that she would actually be right under their nose. Since A'Li is the only one that has seen her in her fox form out of this group of people he was the first among them all found her. Her color actually camouflaged her into the bloomed lotus flowers if you didn't pay attention.

"Gungun where have you been? Everyone has been looking for you!" A'Li asks. Gungun, still in her sleep state lifts her head and stares at him with sleepy eyes then goes back to sleep. "Come on let's go back before uncle MoYuan punishes us." he says in a high-pitched voice while trying to pull her back by her tails.

Gungun got annoyed, then she transforms back into her human form and sits on the edge of the pond. A'Li joins her sitting there since he is determined not to go back without her. "A'Li, I really miss mother. I don't want to be here! I don't want to go back to Nine Heaven either. I just want to be with mother!" she starts crying.

"Gungun I know how you feel, since mother left me for three hundreds years as well. Fengjiu jiejie will come back soon. She is just sleeping. You can always visit her when mother goes to Qingqiu." he tries to comfort her. "A'Li, ever since I was born all I had was mother. No one else was there with us. Just me and mother. Now all of a sudden there are all these people that I don't know of and I'm getting tossed around like a hot potato." she explains her feelings.

"I know it hard to take everything in. I had the same problem before. When mother finally came back I had all these new extended family and the titles are getting all mixed up as time goes by. MoYuan is mother's master. I should call him grandmaster but he's also father's twin brother so I should call him uncle. Then according to Tianjun great-grandpa, I should call him just high god... so everything seems confusing to me as well. So lord father just tells me to call him uncle." A'Li explains his frustrations.

"It doesn't seem that confusing to you since you one had that one person you don't know how to address." she looks back at him. "That's what you think! I might have the same as you now. Before Fengjiu jiejie got married she kept telling me to address Donghau Dijun as grandpa when I used to call him gege. But now she got married to him I don't know if I still should address him as grandpa and her as grandma or gege and jiejie." he says with a stressed out face.

"That's just two titles that you are having confusion with, how is it the same as mine?" she confusingly says. A'Li went to look for a stick in the grass and sat back down beside her. "Let me draw out the web of people and titles and you will see how complicated things have gotten.

So according to Nine Heaven rules;

Great-grandpa Tianjun is of the same generation Donghua Dijun or one generation lower.

→ Father is Tianjun's grandchild and he uses to call Donghua Dijun, uncle.

→→ But mother and father are to call Donghua Dijun grandpa as well.

→→→ So technically I'm supposed to call Donghua Dijun, great grandpa.

→→→→ Because you're Donghua Dijun's daughter, you're my grandaunt....

But if we were to just go according to Qingqiu rules;

Mother married Father

→ Fengjiu jiejie calls mother and father gugu and uncle.

→→ Donghua Dijun married Fengjiu jiejie, he also would call father uncle and I'm his cousin.

→→→ So this makes me your uncle." A'Li finishes explaining.

"That only makes sense to you though, to me it doesn't!" she replies while taking the stick from him and starts to draw her side of the web.

So if I go with lord father's rules;

→ I am supposed to be your grandaunt?

→→ Your father, Yehua is supposed to be my nephew and your mother, BaiQian is my niece in-law?

→→→ and third prince, LianSong is supposed to be? Uncle?

But if I go with mother's rules;

→You call mother, jiejie so that makes me your niece.

→→ Your father Yehua is my granduncle and your mother BaiQian is my grandaunt.

→→→and third prince, LianSong great grandpa." Gungun finishes explaining.

"It's too much to take in. I'm already lost and have a headache. But I also heard before when Donghua gege threatened third grandpa that he will adopt ChengYu as his god granddaughter! If he marries ChengYu then what title will he have?" he asks. "I don't know anymore and I don't want to think on that topic anymore either. How did the titles get so mixed up in the first place anyways?" she asks with a sigh.

"Let's just address the ones we don't know how to anymore with just their names and status ranking. Ignore all the family titles if we don't know." he suggests. "I guess that's all we can do for now until someone tries to correct us. But who dares to correct us except our family?" she lets out.

These two youngsters feel so defeated and tired from this family tree of tangled webs they just want to fall asleep right on the spot. They have no more energy to do anything, not even to walk back to their room. As they drift into their own little sweet dreams MoYuan was watching from far and listening on how these two youngsters suffer from the two Bai women's love aftermath.

MoYuan felt pity on these two youngsters and took them back to their room for the night. He shakes his head while he was tugging them in bed. "Donghua, look at how much trouble you have caused when you finally learn how to fall in love." he speaks out while leaving the room.

The Bai women seem to be the source of the problem. MoYuan hopes that when this little BaiGungun grows up she doesn't also cause the whole world to collapses like her mother and grandaunt.
