Darkness, that problems trapped me in
With the absence of light, darkness conquered me
Can't let go from what I am trapped in
Laying in a bed of thorns, hard to be free

I just want to be free from all that bothers me,
To let go from all of this
I am on my knees, begging you to let me be
I just want to taste the sweetness freedom, please

I tried and tried, but I fell again
Yes, it is arduous, but I know I can
So for the last time, I tried to stand up on my own feet, strenuously
And at last, freedom embraced me, finally
