Chapter 1:Meeting Magcon❤️

Melissa's POV**

I woke up to my alarm clock and it's 9 o'clock. I shut it off. I can't wait to be in Texas! I got up and made my bed. I made pancakes for me, Matthew, my mom and dad. I placed the pan on the stove trying not to burn myself. I stirred the pancake mix. after I was done I put it in the pan. I waited for the pancake to cook and ran to Matts room. I jumped on his bed and shaked him

"Get up!" I yelled while hitting his face with a pillow.

"Wait I'm just closing my eyes and go do something else" he mumbled

"Wake up! get up! I made pancakes!" I yelled again. he quickly got up.

"I'm up" he still had tired eyes. I grabbed his hand and led him downstairs.

"Shit!" I let go of his hand and ran to the stove. I burned a pancake. I'm such a damn screwup!

"No cussing!" Matthew raised his voice. I quickly flipped it over and got out the plates and maple syrup.

"C-Can y-you do it? I b-burned one" I stuttered

"Yeah, sure" he smiled. I smiled back. I gave him the spatula or whatever that thing is called. I sat on the couch and turned on the TV. I watched spongebob while playing five nights at Freddy's. it was an awesome game. I couldn't make it through the 3rd night.

I got a text from my friend Jason it said:

Hey Mel! how r u? Wanna hang out soon?

I couldn't go because I was leaving today. I responded:

Hey Jason I'm great and I can't I'm leaving today but meet me outside.

He said ok and I slipped on my uggs then went outside. I saw Jason. He lives next door. I was still in my pjs but I didn't care.

"Hey Jason!" I hugged him

"Hey Mel, so where are you going?" he said nervously. why is he acting like that?

"I'm going to magcon with my brother" I said excitedly

"Oh ok but can I tell you something?" he said

"Uh yeah sure" I waited for him to go on.

"So lately I had th-" Jason was interrupted by Matt

"Melissa you have to come in!" Matthew yelled

"Ok wait!" I told Matt

"So I think I like you" he said nervously while mumbling

"I like you too" I smiled

"Not in a friends way" he said which made me feel weird. I never had this feeling before. I couldn't explain the feeling. I stayed speechless not knowing what to say or do. I don't know if I like him or not.

"I gotta go get ready but bye Jason" I kissed his cheek for some unknown reason

"Bye Mel" he smiled widely.

I ran back home and opened the door. As soon as I got in I closed it and sat on the couch.

"So what did he say" Matthew had a weird grin

"Um you seriously wanna know?" I said

"Yes I wanna know"

"So Jason likes me and I don't know what to do I have this weird feeling in my stomach and he makes me feel numb but what does that mean?" I asked confused

"You like him" he said while poking me

"Yeah I don't know how I feel when I like someone" that must've sounded weird
