Chapter one: Nice to meet you, whats your weakness?

You woke up at 7:09 to the sound of muffled laughter radiating through the floorboards from downstairs. Your parents where usually out doing hero work at this time in the morning but today was a special day. Today you took the entrance exam to get into UA academy. Which only happened to have the best hero course available.

You wanted to make your pro hero parents proud and show them just how great your power was.

Apparently mixing your fathers 'shock absorption' quirk and your mothers 'chameleon' quirk proved to create a rather unusual power. But a badass one none the less.

You changed into a pair of sports leggings and a hoodie and wondered downstairs whilst tying your (h/c) hair up. When you got to the final step your family pet jumped up at you causing you to fall back onto the stairs from the added weight. The large husky dog had grown up with you and was always happy to see you. He barked and chuffed as you patted his large head and pushed him off of you.

"Y/n is that you?"

Your mothers voice was shrill with excitement as you wondered into the kitchen yawning, your large fluffy companion by your side.

"Finally she's awake!" Your dad boomed "I thought you where going to sleep through the exam!"

"Oh yeah old man? You're way lazier than me!" You scoffed, stepping back into a fighting stance. Your mother sighed and the Large Husky started wagging his tail and barking at the realisation of what was about to go down.

Your dad let out a hearty laugh and lunged towards you. You stayed still. The moment his fist made contact with your face you mimicked his quirk, a gust of wind blew through the house at the sheer Impact. Your eyes where now dark green like your fathers instead of their previous (e/c) colour and a large grin lined your features.

"Just don't break the furniture! I've had enough of shopping for new ornaments." Your mother dejectedly sighed whilst holding your husky back by the collar. "No Otis I refuse to let you join those idiots!" She scolded the dog. He didn't listen. Against his restraint he tugged and lunged wildly wagging his tail, barking loudly and you and your dad threw Punches at each other laughing like crazed children.

Punch after punch was sent out, your laughter causing your stomach to ache. You sent a shattering blow to your dads stomach which he responded to with a right hook to the side of your head. No pain was felt from either of you as you tackled the large muscular man onto the sofa, knocking the coffee table over whilst giggles erupted through the house.

"That's it! NO MORE FIGHTING IN THE HOUSE!" your mother screamed. She let go of Otis and watched the dog barrel into the mess of the living room. She used her quirk to turn invisible and snuck around to the front of the sofa. She looped her arms under your armpits and forcefully tore you away from the fight.

Whilst still giggling you switched to her quirk and turned invisible yourself, snaking through her arms and making your way to the front door. You tried to leave whilst still under cover but Otis was barking right as you.

"Traitor" you whispered at him. Your mother and father both laughed and walked towards where you where standing. Now fully visible your mum patted Otis on the head, your dad did the same.
"Traitor? He's the only reason I'm able to find your mother when she gets mad at me and physically ghosts me." Your dad chuckled in his deep voice.

your mother slapped his arm playfully as you stopped using your mothers quirk and returned to normal, your (e/c) eyes lit up with shock when you looked at the watch on your wrist.

"Mum...Dad...it's time for me to go." you where slightly nervous and your stomach flipped within you, tying itself into knots. Your parents gave each other a knowing look before rushing towards you and scooping you up into a family bear hug. Even Otis stood on his back legs leaning against the group hug, making himself as tall as you.
