As the coach came to a stop, the excited ramblings of 1-A students got louder and louder. Iida tried his best to keep everyone in a straight line on their way through the carpark but despite his repeated instructions, everyone ran towards the doors of the large bowling alley. You grabbed Katsuki's wrist and began tugging him towards the double doors. Katsuki dragged his feet across the multicoloured carpet of the bowling alley. He grumpily gazed around the large space, seeing families and couples laughing and having fun. He rolled his eyes when he saw the class splitting up into three groups of seven.
Mina, Sero, Denki and Kirishima waved the two of you over to a seating area next to one of the lanes. Tokoyami had somehow made his way into the group. Sitting quietly while Dark Shadow floated around Mina as she put a pair of bowling shoes on.
Kirishma handed you a set of shoes in your size and beckoned Katsuki over to the main desk to get his own shoes and pay for an hour and a half time slot.
"So how's it going man?" Kirishima elbowed his friend.
Katsuki tugged harshly at the shoes red laces, glaring up at Kirishima from his squatting position. "Shut it, shit for brains." He snarled.
Kirishima sighed and patted the explosive teen on the back and walked back towards your group. The grumpy blond looked up to see you sat next to Mina, casually chatting away. Denki was kneeled over tying your shoelaces. Katsuki almost blew a fuse upon seeing that dunce getting close to you.
He rose as quickly as possible, startling some of the employees behind the desk. Katsuki stopped towards you, his shoulders tense and his eyes burning holes through Denki's back. His temper turned to disdain when he saw how the electric idiot had failed to tie your laces.
Katsuki shoved the boy to the side and knelt down in his place. He gently grasped your ankle and lifted it to rest on his knee while he quickly worked his fingers across the laces to create a neat double bow.
When he switched to do your other shoe, he realised how quiet it was. He looked up to see the whole group staring wide eyed at him. "Bakugo's being nice?" Sero backed away a step, seemingly terrified. Tokoyami nodded, also distressed by the sight In front of him.
"Come on guys you know he's only nice for Y/n!" Mina cooed. Katsuki began vibrating with rage. The second bow he had created was not as neat as the first, due to his temper. The knot was far too tight. You noticed this but decided to keep your mouth shut...you weren't t exactly looking to get your foot blown off and speaking would bring attention to your completely flustered expression.
Katsuki shot up and typed his name into the machine. He picked up the heaviest bowling ball there was on offer and tossed it down the lane angrily.
Your group watched in surprise as all of the pins were knocked over in one violent swipe. Katsuki turned around to stare at the group. Their shocked faces made him grit his teeth and crack his knuckles threateningly.
His display of violence shocked you slightly after seeing his much softer side recently. You'd almost forgotten just how intimidating he could be if he tried.
Slowly, you all started clapping. Katsuki took his second shot at the pins, this time earning another 'strike' banner to appear across the screen on the wall. Katsuki shook his wrist out and slouched down in the seat next to you. The chatter began again as Sero went up to take his go next.
"Why are you in such a bad mood?" You asked the ticking time bomb, cautious not to talk too loud. Katsuki's face softened and regret flashed across his eyes for a second. He let out a quiet sigh and sat up in his chair. "It's none of your business so drop it."
