It had been a good ten minutes since you had passed out. Katsuki and Aizawa had caught their breath back, and your teacher suggested leaving the chillingly silent basement to assess the carnage that was undoubtedly underway above the three of you.

Katsuki pulled your face away from his chest and patted your cheek firmly. You were still unconscious, but thankfully your temperature had gone down and you were no longer sweating.

The boy rose to his feet with his arms under your shoulders to lift you up. Aizawa stepped forward to try and carry you himself but Katsuki ignored him and slung your unconscious form around his torso. He shrugged you further up his back and placed your arms loosely around his neck. He kept your legs wrapped around his waste with his arms to support below your thighs.

He made sure to keep your face turned towards his neck. The warmth was comforting and this way he could make sure you were still breathing.

Aizawa led his student up towards the staircase. A warm glow shon from the hallway but it held no homely comfort even despite the conditions they were in underground. The hallways were quiet and the carpets were torn and singed from looked like a stampede of some sorts.

The image of you in that monstrous state came to the front of Aizawa's brain. How had you managed to snap out of it? Would the others be able to as well? Were these brainwashed creatures really spreading disaster through japan as he thought this? What happened when you woke up? Would you be back to normal or-

His train of thought was halted when he stepped into the grand hall. Katsuki also came to a sudden stop when he looked past his teachers shoulder. The room was bloodied and completely ruined. The oil painting were torn down, the wooden wall panels were splintered and caving inwards, even the ceiling was cracked and fractured.

The chairs and tables lay in disarray across the room. The stage collapsed and the buffet table split in half. A few bodies lay across the floor. The monsters seemed to fight everyone and everything that moved. Even each other. Those too weak to handle the fallout were now laying still without a pulse.

Aizawa had seen many atrocities in his time working as a hero, but this was definitely one of the most gruesome circumstances.

Viperidae's assistant was crumpled close to the main door. She obviously hadn't been able to move out of the way fast enough when the newly turned monsters stampeded through the door.

The air was dusty and stagnant. Aizawa and Katsuki began to search around for any sign of survivors. Katsuki grimaced as he came across the harpy girl you both had spoken to briefly. She was half buried underneath a pile of rubble. Katsuki shrugged your higher onto his back and slowly moved on.

Aizawa knew what he was looking for, but he refused to accept it as a possibility. A large gray feather rested in his right hand. One of Perry's gray feathers. She didn't seem to be here so Aizawa could only hope that she got out with the rest of the party guests turned savage.

He came across the pair of silver sandals that had poisoned you. The man shed his jacket and wrapped one of the sandals with it. Perhaps using this, they could find a cure for everyone else.

"...wait." Aizawa stopped in his tracks when he came to a realisation. "Maybe...just maybe... the reason why L/n managed to change back was because of her quirk."

Katsuki took in a sharp breath at what Aizawa was suggesting. Your teacher turned back to face  the boy with a serious expression.

"She passed out after biting through her lip right? What if she was able to push all of the poison in her bloodstream to that specific area to bleed it out."
