"Perry, I need your quirk so that I can fly to Hosu and help my friends."
"That's completely out of the question. You don't have a hero licence, you can't legally do anything. You just learned how to use her quirk today. Perry stays isolated here for a reason. To use her quirk out in public would put her and you in immense danger!" Aizawa ordered you to stay, but you couldn't sit and watch whilst your friends fought to keep everyone safe.
You turned to Perry with sorrowful eyes, she had a soft smile on her face. She looked to Aizawa was now changing the channel again. She held her index finger in front of her lips and winked at you. She held out her hand.
"Thank you Perry." You whispered. You took her hand and shifted.
"Just sit tight and let the pros handle it." Aizawa sighed as he turned around. He saw you take the Peryton quirk form and run towards the door. "L/N NO!" He yelled after you. Perry leapt at him, covering his eyes with her hand so that he couldn't erase your quirk.
You launched off of the porch of the house, flapping your large wings wildly to take off, you kicked your four legs awkwardly as you scrambled towards the sky. Once you where above the tree line you looked down to see Perry restricting Aizawa. She gave you a thumbs up before she continued to keep him held down.
You began to fly along the cliff face as fast as you could, what would've taken you an hour to walk took you only seconds to fly with your newly adopted Peryton quirk.
You followed the railway all the way to Hosu. Taking your phone out of your front shirt pocket to follow to Midoriya's location. You saw a burst of ice and fire from a desolate alleyway away from the main explosions of the villains attack. You folded your wings in and your legs underneath yourself as you began to dive bomb.
You saw Midoriya on the floor next to Iida, Todoroki stood defending them. He was facing off a villain that the media had come to know as 'the hero killer, Stain'. A dirty cloth worked as a mask to frame his bloodshot eyes, knives extruding from sheathes on either side of his body and across his back.
'That must be the one that put Iidas brother in hospital. He came here to avenge his brother. Not a smart move Iida.' You thought as you neared the scene.
"Todoroki move!" You yelled as you passed between the two buildings. Todoroki looked up to see a dark silhouette falling towards him but he recognised your voice and knew you came to help. He leapt backwards to cover Midoriya and Iida. The villain Stain jumped backwards also.
As you neared the ground you re opened your wings, the sudden movement caused you to lurch backwards as the tips of your feathers scraped against the sides of the buildings. Every single person in the alleyway let out shocked or even fearful gasps as you landed haphazardly. Your hooves kicking up sparks as they clashed with the concrete below.
Flames lit up behind you. You turned to see your friends terrified faces. "Don't worry, it's just a quirk I took." You reassured them as you flapped your wings slightly, causing dust and debris to spiral around your legs.
When you turned back around you saw stain looking at you with sheer bloodlust. "It will definitely be interesting to kill you, little hero." He jumped at you. Todoroki shot ice straight past you to keep him at bay.
"Thanks Todoroki!" You backed up next to him, you removed your pyjama top to reveal a black vest top underneath. You tied the long sleeved top around your waste ready for the transition back to bare legs.
"My times almost up with this quirk. But I only needed it to get to you. Todoroki, need a hand?" You held your hand out towards him. He grasped it and began shooting flames at Stain as he tried to get close, you focused your energy of swapping Perry's quirk with Todoroki's.
