"Well that was a huge mistake" you grumbled as you crawled out of bed. Your every muscle hurt. You could barely stand up straight to make breakfast once you had crawled into the kitchen "stupid Bakugo should've warned me that this would happen." You knew he did, but you carried too much pride to admit it. Your parents never came home at the normal time this morning.
After saying goodbye to Otis you started your walk to school. Your arms and legs where stiff but you where more worried about your seemingly missing parents. You checked your phone to see a voicemail from your dad. You immediately held your phone up to your ear as you began to walk a little faster towards UA.
"Hey honey uh..your mum and I will be away for a while, something really big came up." You began to worry slightly, hearing crashing and screaming in the background of the recorded message. "We might be busy for a while so stay calm and uh....hang in there."
The message cut out after a large explosion was heard. You saved the message and ran the rest of the way to school.
You burst through the doors of the classroom in a panic, your hair was a mess, you were sweating and your uniform was creased and untidy. "L/n? It's only your second day what's wrong? Uraraka giggled quietly, slightly worried. The whole class stared at you in a weird way, they where confused and some where worried.
"Don't worry guys!" You said with a little too much enthusiasm. "I just woke up a little late!" You laughed awkwardly and snuck to your desk at the back of the room as quickly as possible. Most of the class shook it off and continued with their conversations. Except for one. Guess who.
Bakugo walked over to you. Slamming his hand on the table and making you jump "You didn't stretch did you?"
"No"
"What else is it?"
He stared straight through you. "Fine" you sighed. "I got this really disturbing voicemail from my dad and I...I think they're in trouble..." You pulled your phone out of your bag and leaned forward, Bakugo placed a second hand on the table and lowered his ear to your phone. You played the message and held the phone between the two of you.
When the message ended Bakugo glanced into your eyes through his blond hair, he then stood back up grabbing your phone, he deleted the message and placed it down on your desk.
"Your parents are hero's, they'll be fine. You need to stop worrying, it'll make you uglier." He flicked your forehead and went back to his desk.
Todoroki moved to stand next to you. "I couldn't help but overhear and I know it can be worrisome sometimes, have some faith in them. That's what Bakugo was trying to say." He patted your shoulder as Aizawa walked into the room.
"Ok so, you all know that the sports festival is coming up and I don't trust all of you to train privately so get into your hero costumes and meet me outside. You're skipping normal lessons today." The shelves holding everyone's costumes slid out of the walls as students excitedly crowded to get to their costume. "Oh right. L/n, there was a slight change made to your costume design. Due to the alleyway incident." Aizawa called. He then left he room to head down to the field.
'A change? I wonder what." You thought as you and the girls made your way to the changing rooms.
