While you chased down Bakugo and Otis, you where led Into an opening within the forest area outside of the city. You where almost exhausted when you finally caught up to Bakugo and collapsed in the grass panting as he walked over to where you lay. He unclipped the lead from Otis' collar and let he dog explore the secluded area.

"Oh come on that was only a two mile jog. You should be warmed up by now dumbass, not lying on the floor like you just ran a marathon!" He taunted as he crouched down next to your limp body.

"Screw you, you faulty firework! My stamina isn't as good as yours!" You mumbled into the grass. Still face flat.

"Clearly. Now get up lard ass before I blow you up from here." You sighed finally catching your breath. Bakugo began to jog to the opposite end of the clearing whilst you stood up shakily.
"Before we fight, I figured you could use a physical examination seeing as you missed the one last week." He pulled out a stop watch from where his bag was dumped on the ground and grinned.

"From where you're standing to where I am is just about a hundred meter sprint!" He shouted. "Run as fast as you can towards me when you hear the bang got it?"

You had no time to answer back as he raised his arm in the air, counted to three and set of a large enough explosion for you to hear across the clearing. You did as instructed and started sprinting as fast as you possibly could. Your muscles still fatigued from the running you did to get there.

You where panting as you ran towards him. You felt like you couldn't afford to disappoint him. He took time out of his day to help you despite what he said. Why should you be pushing yourself so hard? Was it because of what Aizawa said? How weak you felt stood at the front of that class? Whatever it was you where going to get stronger and win that sports festival!

Bakugo couldn't look away, he saw the desperation in your eyes as you ran towards him. He knew that your legs where hurting from the way you gritted your teeth but you pressed forward, panting and desperate to get to him. Desperate to improve.

With a final grunt you jumped forward. Landing on your side and sliding to his feet. Your back crashed into his shins as he pressed the stopwatch.

"12 seconds...not too good for a hero but definitely average. We can work with that" he smiled down at you slightly. Your eyes where screwed shut and you where breathing heavily. "I only asked you to run...not slide. You don't have to be so extra...ya extra." He huffed and moved away from you.

The two hours left of daylight where spent testing your physical abilities without using any form of quirk. It was hard work and Bakugo didn't go easy on you. It was starting to get dark as he challenged you to a throwing competition. Otis was excited for this one. You threw the ball as far as you could from one end of the clearing to the other. The husky bounded after it. "Weak shit! Watch this!" Bakugo challenged as Otis returned the ball. Bakugo leaned back before using his explosion quirk to send the ball flying through the air at an amazing speed."DIE!"

Otis looked at you expecting to hear the magic word his tail wagging so hard his whole body shook. Your eyes where still glued to the sky where the ball had seem to disappear "uh...fetch?" You said questioningly. Otis then shot it into the forest in the direction that the ball went. Bakugo was laughing at the dogs excitement to catch the flaming ball.

"You're terrifying!" You joked still in awe of his throw. He lifted his nose in pride.

"How bout a quick sparring round?" He grinned.

"After seeing that? I'm not sure, besides it's getting dark it's not safe for me to be out here. My parents would want me to be home by now..." your voice tapered off. Bakugo placed a calloused hand on your shoulder. When you looked up at him he wasn't angry, just determined.
