Chapter twenty one: summer camp

After your dramatic nightmare and what felt like an eternity of teenagers screaming the lyrics to 'the wheels on the bus', your class coach parked at what Aizawa claimed to be the first stop.

It wasn't much to look at, a clearing at the edge of a cliff that overlooked dense forest land for as far as the eye could see. At least it worked as a good place to stretch your legs.

"It's not much of a pit stop." You heard Denki say.

"That's because you're not here to rest." Aizawa stated.

You turned around to see two middle aged women dressed as...cats? They had short skirts and cropped tops on along with high platform heels and a set of cat paw gloves and tails. One was dressed in blue with long blonde hair and the other was dressed in red with short reddish brown hair.

"Talk about a mid life crisis..." you mumbled to Katsuki who stood next to you. He let out a small scoff right before Midoriya started fanboying.

"The wild wild pussycats where a superhero group formed when we where kids!" He excitedly cried out. "This marks their twelfth year working as-" he was cut off when the woman dressed in blue forced a pawed glove over his face.

"I'm eighteen at heart!" She huffed violently.

You couldn't help but let a small snort escape your lips. Her tail twitched as she made eye contact with you. She definitely looked ready for a cat fight. The thought made you have to stifle another laughter by pulling Katsuki's sleeve foreword so that his body blocked her view of you.

The cat woman in red explained that they owned most of the land and that the summer camp was at the base of the mountain.

"Then why did we stop here?" Ochaco wondered out loud.

"Oh no..." you said in disbelief.

"Everyone run back to the bus!" Mina shouted as she tried to escape.

The cat woman in red let off an evil smirk. "Kitties who don't make it there by twelve thirty wont get any lunch!" Her sweet voice was terrifying in that moment.

Before you could even make it back to the bus, the blue cat woman had jumped in front of your group and crouched down to the floor. The ground glowed blue under her paw gloves as she let off an even more evil smile.

"Your training has already begun." Aizawa gruffly shouted out.

The dirt beneath all of you started to flow like a violent waterfall over the side of the cliff as you were all flung down to the forest floor.

The whole class screamed as you neared the floor, landing with a loud grunt.

"DID SHE SERIOUSLY SEND US OFF A FRICKIN' CLIFF?" You yelled out, brushing the dirt off your uniform.
The red cat woman came into view at the top of the cliff. "This is private land so you can use your quirks as much as you like! You've got three hours to get to camp, you should be able to make it there in time if you can get through the beast forest!" She called down.

"Beast forest? Creepy.." a couple of your classmates where having doubts about the dark looming forest but it was just a long walk through nature right? Nothing too dangerous. Wrong again.

Just as you came to your senses from the fall, a large monster burst free from the darkness of the forest. It was the size of a large house, with sharp jagged teeth and claws longer than you where tall.

But the creature itself didn't sit right with you. I mean it definitely wasn't any kind of normal animal that was for sure. But it groaned and crumbled away at the joints like...dirt?
