Chapter thirteen: crazy family

You walked in comfortable silence next to Katsuki who had seemingly calmed down. You couldn't help but keep glancing at him from the corner of your eye.

What kirishima said wouldn't leave your mind. 'soft spot? Really? He always looks grumpy to me.' You thought. You had to stifle a giggle when you saw that he was still silently mumbling.

he turned to look down at you. Still grumpy. You reached up and patted him on top of the head. His spiky hair was surprisingly soft to the touch. He slapped your hand away and walked faster ahead of fo you, letting his hair fall down to cover his face.

When you made it to your driveway you stopped dead in your tracks.

"What?" Katsuki asked, looking back to see your shocked face. He followed your gaze to the car on the driveway that previously wasn't there. "Oh shit." He mumbled.

You dropped everything and started running to the front door. "MUM? DAD?" You swung the door wide open and a woman jumped onto you. Wrapped her arms around you and tackled you to the floor.

Katsuki took his hands out of his pockets ready to fight until he saw both of you laughing together. Just then your dad picked both you and your mum up and spun you around.

"What the heck are you guys doing here? I thought you where still on that secret mission or whatever?" You laughed, joyful that your parents where holding you after what felt like a lifetime away from them.

"Well yeah but we couldn't miss congratulating our little girls amazing performance!" Your dads voice was loud and jolly.

"You guys watched the fight?" You where still smiling wide, happy tears stung in the corners of your eyes.

Your mother was already in tears. She refused to let you go. "Watched it? Honey I had your father put it on DVD so that I could repay it over and over again! We are so proud of you!"

The three of you shouting and laughing from being reunited. Katsuki stood awkwardly, holding your bag that you dropped on the floor in your haste to get to the door. Otis barked happily at him and padded across the driveway. Katsuki leaned down to ruffle up the husky's fur.

"A BOYYYY??" Katsuki jumped slightly at your dads angry voice. It reminded him of All Might...Scary.

"Oh right!" You laughed, pulling away from your parents to stand next to your awkward friend. "This is Katsuki Bakugo. He came first in the sports festival!" You removed the first place medal from around your neck and placed it over Katsuki. He gritted his teeth at the weight of the medal around his neck.

"He's a friend from school!" You smiled widely.

"How wonderful, a friend!" Your mum gasped gasped, clapping her hands.

"A boy.." your dad growled.

"A  boyfriend~?" Your mum excitedly turned to your dad.

"A DEAD MAN!" Your dad screamed furiously.

"DAD NOT NOW!" you shouted back with equal power, jumping at him and rough play fighting like you always did.

Katsuki watched wide eyed. He was at a loss for words. Your mum walked towards him holding out her hand.
"It's nice to meet you Bakugo! I'm so happy that my daughter has such a strong friend! You did very well in the festival."

He shook her hand and said a quick thank you, still ruffling Otis' fur. Your mum smiled sweetly at him before turning towards the chaos that was rolling around on the driveway. You had managed to pin your dad to the floor and had him in a headlock as he was wildly tapping out. Both of you shouting at each other.
