"You're heading home?" Niki ask when she saw me going out of my office. I nodded at her while approaching her
"I'm gonna drop by Jennie's company first" I said
"Your girlfriend's always busy huh? Do you want to go out for a coffee first since she's probably gonna go home late and you'll just wait there and do nothing" she said but I shake my head and smile at her so I won't look rude
"It's alright.. I'll see you tomorrow" I said bowing down a bit and walking towards the elevator. I'm trying not to add up any flaws in our relationship or atleast start an arguement because of this. Once the elevator door open I immediately walk towards my car and drive to Jennie's company.
Once I reached her company I look at my watch and it's just 8pm. I saw Jackson walking towards his car and he doesn't seem to notice me so I run towards him and jump on his back making him stumble but he kept his balance and look back to see who jumped on him
"Ya Lalisa I almost died" he said making me laugh at how he over reacts
"Sure... where's Jennie?" I ask as he turn around to look at me properly
"She's on a meeting with an investor. She told me she'll handle it alone and told me to go home already" he said pouting like a kid who didn't get what he wanted
"let's go together then.. she doesn't really say no to me" I said cockily making him scoff
"Really? Then I just misheard it when Jennie said no to you on the phone earlier?" He said laughing as we walk inside while he kept teasing me that Jennie told me not to pick her up cause she can call Mr Kang to pick her up anyway. Jackson lead us towards one of their small meeting room which is basically when they need to have a meeting with atleast 5 people.
Third Person's POV
Around 7pm Jennie's secretary called her cause the investor is already at the meeting room downstairs. She open up the door and saw a guy probably around his mid 40s standing right beside the table.
"Please take your seat" Jennie said nonchalantly as she take her seat. The guy walk towards the seat next to Jennie and take it. It's not normal for an investor to do that since they're either keeping their distance from Jennie out of respect or they're just straight up intimidated by her. Jennie's too tired to even argue about it so she put the papers she brought right infront of her and scattered it so the investor can see it
Their meeting starts and Jennie can sense that the guy is acting weird but she thought the guy was just nervous because of her so she continue the meeting

"So it is really up to you" Jennie stated later on
"Huh?" The guy said completely unaware of what Jennie just said. Jennie sighs at the lack of focus that the guy was giving but she continue speaking. When it is 7:45 the whole room is filled with silence cause Jennie's writing down some things on the paper. While she's busy writing she felt a cold hand on her leg even though she's wearing a jeans. Jennie immediately snap her head towards the guy who's looking at his hand traveling on Jennie's leg. At first Jennie was in total shock that she can't move while her whole body gets cold and shivers run down her spine. When the guy's hand moves upward Jennie jumps away from his touch making her seat fall off
"What the fuck are you doing?!" Jennie yells out but her voice breaks immediately feeling a wave of vulnerability inside her
"Miss Kim, don't act like that. I'll seal the deal in just one quick session " he said standing up from his own chair as Jennie backs out
"Don't you dare step closer or I'll call the police! "
"Do you have a proof Miss Kim?" He said once again so Jennie took the chance and run towards the door but the guy is quick that he pulls Jennie with him while chuckling
"Let go of me!!" She yelled out as tears started forming in her eyes and all she can think of is that hopefully Lisa will pick her up
"Stay still Miss Kim.. it won't hurt " he said in almost a whisper and when Jennie slipped out of his grip she run towards the table full of pastries and drinks. She grab the basket full of bread and throw it towards the guy but it just scattered around the floor while the guy approaches her once more. Jennie was about to run again when the guy caught her. She tried getting out of his grip but he's too strong that they just ended up knocking off the mugs on the table
"Miss Kim you're making this hard " the guy said clearly irritated by it. He pushes Jennie towards the table making Jennie fall down on the floor. She felt a couple of scratches but good thing she didn't land on the glasses from the mugs or she'll end up getting some wound or worst being stabbed. Jennie quickly get up from the floor and grab a sharp piece of the broken mug and pointed it towards the guy
"Leave now!"
"Or what? You'll stab me? Trust me.. you can't do it" he says confidently
"I will if I have to. The guards will be here cause of the security cameras" she said looking up a bit
"I'm not too dumb to leave it on Miss Kim" he said smiling disgustingly since he already turn the security cameras off before going to their meeting
"Our meeting should be done by now and if neither of us go out someone will go here. Leave if you still can" Jennie says. The guy look around as he process it and when he realized that Jennie may be right he turn to look at her and walk closer to her making Jennie's tears stream down in fear. The guy grab the back of Jennie's head to put Jennie's full attention on him
"Listen Miss Kim... you can no longer run away from him" he said before leaving Jennie behind
