"Irene" "Jennie" we both said in union making Jisoo look at me with wide eyes

"You know each other? " I just ignore her words while looking at Irene standing right there with the same elegance she always have since then

"You guys can join us for breakfast" she said looking at Jisoo and I

"Wait Irene.. let's talk-" she cut me off by shaking her head

"We can do that later" she said as she head towards the kitchen

"Is she the investor you're talking about?" I ask Jisoo while we're walking towards the kitchen

"Yes and I didn't expect that you guys know each other.. I haven't seen you hanging out with her when you and Lisa are dating" she said.. when we reached the kitchen she's already sitting next to Lisa while putting some food on her plate

"2 of these right?" She said pointing at the pancake on a plate. Lisa nodded as she let Irene put some on her plate.

"Thank you " Lisa said making Irene nod. I walk towards the seat in front of Lisa and sit right there. Irene stood up and walk towards the cat bowl to put some food in there as well.. it seems like she's been here for years knowing what to do without even rushing

"Does being an investor also make you a helper?" I ask getting some food for myself

"It is my choice as a person to like who I want to like Jennie" she said not even looking at me. Lisa just keeps on eating while Jisoo grab a lot of food for her plate

"I missed your foods Irene" Jisoo said smiling making me look at her. She turn her head and saw me glaring at her making her smile fade off "but my favorite is Thai foods.. Jennie used to cook it before and it is the best" she said smiling at me

"Do you need help for later? I have nothing to do" Irene said looking at Lisa

"I have a couple of paperworks but I can finish it alone.. " Lisa said wanting Irene to just rest for the day while I'm just here looking at them

"I can look after the cats while you're working" she said making Lisa nod as she drink some water

"You can sleep upstairs if you want to rest" Lisa said

"Do you mind if I'll sleep in your bed?" She ask still looking at Lisa "I feel more comfortable there" Lisa just nodded once more making Jennie's brows raise

"There's plenty of rooms.. is your bed different from all the other?" I ask making Lisa look up to meet my gaze

"No" she answered shortly before standing up as she's already done eating breakfast. She walk out of the kitchen while Irene follows her. Jisoo on the other hand is still eating and she's not even halfway done

"Ya Kim Jisoo let's go!" I said pinching her side making her flinch as I walk out of the kitchen seeing Irene helping Lisa to put on her coat that she just ironed earlier.

"I'll see you later" Irene said making Lisa nod as she thanked Irene again. Lisa turn to look at Jisoo and I before stepping inside the elevator leaving us three there

"So... how do you guys know each other?" Jisoo ask while carrying the plate full of foods.. she didn't really leave it behind

"We were friends back when we were studying" Irene answered

"Were? So.. not anymore?" Jisoo ask

"We lost contact after it" Irene said. Irene is on a higher grade level that time and since I'm accelerated I have a lot of older classmates.

"Are you and Lisa together?" I ask not trying to beat around the bush anymore

"No.. but I'm just waiting for Lisa to reciprocate what I feel for us to start dating" she said making me chuckle

"Damn you're actually head over heels" I said

"And what about it?" She said firmly while still looking so elegant just standing there and doing nothing

"You see.. I'm here to get back what was mine" I said

"What was yours? Past tense. There's nothing more to it. You broke up. You didn't do your best and there is no better luck next time since there won't be a next time." She said still looking at me

"I'll fix it"

"Then why did you ruin it while you still have it? Do you think people will keep on giving second chances?"

"Lisa will" the side of Irene's lips move up as she plastered a smirk

"You're not sure about that" I stare at her for a moment not knowing what to say but she stare back at me holding her gaze stronger than I do

"Irene we were basically friends so why do you want to ruin what I have?"

"Were Jennie.. we were friends. Not to sound petty but I can't let you have Lisa again. Do you remember when were studying?" My eyes fall down on the floor knowing exactly where she's heading "right before you even settle with Kai as your last boyfriend. Everyone likes you. Even those people I like, they like you a lot more cause you're younger, intelligent and pretty. I will always tell you if I like someone but what do you always do? You let them be into you without the assurance of liking them back.. and where does that leave me? Nothing... I was left with no one for me cause you'll always have the reason for them to just keep panning their focus on you"

"But you have the choice to turn them down. Cause I told you that I like this certain person but you will just ignore my words cause you like the attention that people are giving you. You like the admiration that you're getting from everyone that you didn't even think of what I like... of who I like" Irene look at me as she walk closer to me "Now I'm asking you this one time. Let me have a chance on the person I like. You already fucked up your chance and I wanted to finally be liked by someone. Jennie... I also want to be happy like everyone else. I'll tell this one last time. I like Lisa and you better stay in your line this time."
