For 1 month I haven't seen Jennie. She went back to South Korea to keep working. She's too busy to even go back to London for our meetings and events. She'll just attend meetings online since she can't come over. The last time they sent Jackson over to attend the monthly evaluation and all that.
Everything went back to how it used to be. Irene keeps sticking around but the difference is that Seulgi actually pulls her more frequently than she used to. She keeps telling Irene that they need to talk about work stuff. Seulgi even ask me to give her work that needs Irene so she can stick around her more often. Irene however, keeps making time for me too she still prepare my clothes and all that which I seriously told her that I can do it by myself and she should just have fun instead of sticking around my house to basically take care of me.
I'm just walking through the hallway with my head down not even knowing where should I go. Honestly, I finished all my paperworks cause I really don't have anything else to do. I even played video games with Jisoo. I also went to the studio to help produce a couple of songs. I went to the dance practice room to choreograph 3 songs with Seulgi and now I'm out of things to do.
"Are you alright?" I look up from looking at the ground as I stop myself from walking

"Oh, Joohyun" I said looking at her
"You don't look well" she said putting her hand on my cheek to look at me a bit better
"That's not a compliment huh?" Irene chuckle as she pinch my cheek before putting her hand down
"You still look good either way. You just seem a bit... off" she said still looking at my eyes
"I just don't have anything to do" I said making her laugh loudly as it echos through the empty hallway since the trainees are either practicing or on a break
"You're very workaholic Lalisa.. now that you don't have much on your schedule you end up looking miserable in this empty hallway" she laugh once more making me smile
"What do you expect... I've been literally working for years since we put up the company "
"Don't you think it's the time to go on a vacation or something? Go out with your friends. I'll seriously go out of the country with you if I don't have tons of work" she complain making me chuckle
"Seulgi's making you busy huh?" I ask making her roll her eyes while she shake her head
"Go up to your penthouse and take the time to rest don't be too workaholic.. take some time for yourself" she said smiling at me making me nod. A door open making both of us look as we saw Seulgi walking out
"Ms Bae"
"Speaking of Ms Kang, here she is... again. She doesn't seem to stop working with me" Irene mumbles making me smile at Seulgi who walks out of the practice room to approach Irene
"We have one more work.. let's talk over lunch " she said smiling as she look at me with the same bright smile
"We seriously tried every single restaurant around the city because of all this meeting " Irene told me in almost a whisper so Seulgi won't be able to hear it
"Go and work... enjoy your meal together" I said turning my heel around to leave them there. I walk towards the elevator and go straight to my penthouse and basically stood there still not having a single plan. I stand by the window of my penthouse and just stare at the other buildings ahead. What the fuck should I do
I walk to my bedroom and saw the suitcase on the side and for no reason I just stare at it for a couple of minutes till I decided to open it up. I seriously have no idea why.
I fish my phone out of my pocket and go through my schedule.. it's all clear, no events nor meetings. The monthly evaluation just happened a few days ago also so it'll be a while. I ended up calling my secretary if I have any more schedule that I didn't know and she told me we're pretty clear this month because most of our idols are still preparing for another comeback. Some are resting and some aren't completely trained yet. We also have no meeting with some board members and if there is one my secretary can just go there if I'm not needed. After she ended the call I walk towards my closet and just started pulling out clothes and putting it on my suitcase while I'm holding my phone as I look for a flight I can book.
In no time I'm already closing my suitcase and I'm already heading out of my penthouse
"Jisooyah" I said while my phone's on my right ear while I'm inside the elevator "ill go out of the country for a couple of days... if someone ask for me please tell them I'll be back in a few days. If something happen, call Bambam"
"Alright, I won't ask where you'll be just stay safe and go back alive cause I can't handle the company alone" she said making me chuckle. When the elevator door open on the parking lot, my driver is already waiting so I went in and he put my suitcase on the trunk.
At first I really don't have an idea where I'll go. I just pack up my stuff and decided to go to the airport. When I was scrolling through the flights one country catches my eye. I even look at the date today and felt like it seems like I'm destined to go to that country today. I don't have any work, my schedule is free, perfect timing for a flight and tomorrow is the exact same date of our supposedly 9th year anniversary if we didn't broke up.
