I wouldn't last for more than 5 minutes with 3 guys beating me up and I'll just say I'm too lucky that the exact time the guys started beating me up was also the time when Mr. Kang and the guards pass by the alley and saw someone getting beaten up. The 3 guys are about to run but the guards are way too fast that they caught them immediately. Mr Kang help me up and look at me worriedly

"Lisayah we'll drive you to the hospital" he said holding on me tight

"Mr. Kang, I'm not dying" I said and chuckles but my stomach hurts from the way that stupid guy kicked me "I did a good job didnt I?" I said

"what do you even mean? you're lying down there and you call that a good job?" he said 

"aish Mr Kang you're no fun" I said which makes him chuckle but I can still see how worried he is

"you got a couple of scratch on your face and you'll probably get some bruises but you didnt even bled" he said putting my arm around his shoulder so I can walk 

"that's why you need to point out that I'm good" I said, seriously getting beat up by 3 guys without knowing that someone will help you is scary as hell but atleast I kept my word that I'll bring the gift back safely

"fine you're good but you'll get a lot of scolding from Jennie" he said while the guards are following us and the others put those 3 guys in the car and immediately take them to the police station "go get some icepack" Mr kang said to the other guards when we reached the location.

Jennie's mom was the first one who saw me and I can see the horror in her eyes seeing my state so she immediately pulled Jennie around to face me. I turn to look at Jennie and she immediately run towards me

"Lisayah what the hell!" she said worriedly and she grab my face to check my scratches "what the hell happened to you!" she said furiously 

"yeah hell happened to me" I said trying to throw out a joke just to keep Jennie from worrying too much but I know too well that it wont work

"Ya Lalisa Manoban!" she yelled out while our friends run towards me and even Jennie's dad and everyone else are looking at our direction

"Mrs. Kim, I'm sorry the box side got folded a bit" I said ignoring Jennie and looking at her mom while I give her the gift. Jennie look at her mom like she's so mad at her but she turn her head back to Mr Kang

"Mr Kang who the fuck did this?!" Jennie said and she's' totally ready to kill someone now. I pat Mr Kang's shoulder to keep him from saying anything for now as I pull my arms out and pull Jennie into a hug

"Jennie Kim calm down" I said

"how can I calm down when you're hurt Lisayah!" she said making her voice crack and the next thing I know is she's sobbing on the crook of my neck while holding me tightly "and all you care about is that fucking gift" she cries while I pat her back. I look up and saw our friends looking at me worriedly so I turn my head to Mr Kang to take them away from us so he can explain everything to them and i'll just do the same to Jennie knowing that she won't calm down if Mr Kang will be the one who'll tell here. Jennie pull her face away to look at my face as tears fall down from her eyes more "have you even seen the scratches on your face?" She averted her gaze from my eyes as her tears fall down from her eyes more and I can really see how hurt she is. Seeing Jennie crying hurts more than the actual scratches and bruises

"why? don't I look pretty anymore?" I said to lighten the mood and to keep Jennie from crying too much which actually works as I saw Jennie duck her head and chuckle lightly

"No lisayah" she said looking back up to me

"Is my bangs still align?" Jennie chuckle once again and pull me in for a hug once more. There I calmed her down somehow. I just dont want Jennie to worry. My body does hurt but good thing Mr Kang and the guards arrive a couple of minutes later so it wasn't as bad as the time those girls from my school beat me up

"We'll still go to a doctor Lisayah so you'll be checked okay?"

"yes ma'am" 

"take her to the car" she said to the guard beside us. "I'll just tell dad we're gonna go ahead " she said before walking towards her dad.

the guard escort me outside towards the car and Jennie followed later on with Mr Kang. The guards also gave me back my watch and phone. I sent some text to our friends to let them know that I'm alright and I'll go to the hospital for a check up and we'll go back home right after. Jisoo and Rosie replied that they'll come by our house at night to check up on me.

"I told you you'll get scolded" Mr Kang said while looking at me through the review mirror

"I didn't" I said making Jennie look up from her phone

"didn't I scold you enough?" she said

"I get scolded A LOT Mr Kang" I said making him chuckle at the front seat

"now tell me what happened if you don't want me to scold you all day" Jennie said so on our ride to the hospital I explained everything to her and I can tell how pissed off she is. Once we arrived at the hospital a doctor check up on me and there's a couple of bruises building up on my stomach part where they kick me the most.

Once we're done I thought we'll go home already but Jennie told Mr Kang that she'll pay a visit to the police station. Jennie told me to stay at the car but knowing how tough Jennie is I insisted on going inside as well but ofcourse I dont really win a lot when I'm arguing with Jennie so I stayed in the car with the driver while Mr Kang accompany Jennie inside.

When they went back Jennie has her brows furrowed. I look down on her hand and she clearly hit those guys by the look of her red knuckles. She kept her gaze outside probably calming herself from what happened inside the police station so I put my hand on top of her hand and rub her knuckles with my thumb softly. She turn her head to look at me while her furrow fades out slowly

"I'm already hurt why bother hurting yourself too?" I said

"Im fine, those douchebags will rot in jail" she said. I hold her hand and keep on rubbing her knuckles the whole way home
