WELCOME TO THE FIRST CHAPTER!

Overall, this chapter isn't TOO bad. I mean, it's literally just explaining everything and setting up the story. There are parts that are worded oddly and don't really sound grammatically correct but it's not like there isn't anything awful about this chapter. Doesn't mean I don't have anything to say about it 🤪

So in the very first paragraph, we gonna mention Vampire Diaries and also bash Twilight. Honestly it doesn't really seem like a whole lot of people cared because Twilight is kinda...meh (IN MY OPINION). But to be honest, Vampire Diaries has its flaws too. Like, no offence but I stopped watching after season 6, it was just getting too weird and repetitive. I did watch the very last episode after hearing the hint about something that happens with one of the main characters (wink wink 😔). I will say, however, that Twilight has, by far, the BEST werewolves I've seen. THOSE THINGS ARE SO BIG AND COOL. CAN WE ALL AGREE SAM IS AWESOME?

Now let's move on over to the history of vampires. I quite like everything there and don't have any complaints. There are a TON of people commenting about Vampire Knight so I thought I'd just mention here that I got the inspiration for pure-blooded vampires from that anime but that's it. If there is something else that's similar then it was done unknowingly because I haven't watched that anime IN YEARS so I don't really remember much (side note: Zero is 😍). There are other shows and stuff that I get my inspiration from which pop up throughout the story and when we get to those parts I'll explicitly name them but for now let's just move on.

Oh, but one more thing actually. Originally I wanted to have dirt-bloods be called mud-bloods but I thought that was too similar to Harry Potter...so I went with the next best 🙃. It sounds really weird in my opinion and doesn't really roll off the tongue nicely but IT EEZ WHAT IT EEZ.

Skip through all the stuff about Jimin and the fake fam/friends, we get to Merric. I'm gonna have a lot to say about him in future chapters and stuff so I won't get ahead of myself here. All I have to say is that MERRIC IS A GOOD FRIEND (as of this point). HE STAYED BY (Y/N)'S SIDE WHEN NO ONE ELSE WOULD AND I APPRECIATE THAT.

And then we end the chapter with (Y/n)'s spontaneous decision to become an offerer. Is it dangerous and stupid? Yeah. But the girl is tired of her dull life and wants some of that vampire dick 👅
