He's still trying to take her home and this time it seems he'll succeed. Yup. He's a stubborn, obsessive dickwad that's for sure. In the beginning, he was trying to look out for her but at this point his behaviour is, like, pretty concerning. What makes you think forcing someone against their will to go home after they've repeatedly told you they don't want to is a good idea? Yeah, sometimes forcing someone is in their best interests, even if they don't know it. But in this case, it's really not necessary. Its not like (Y/n) is in some bad situation with Jimin or in some kind of unhealthy, dangerous relationship where she needs someone to save her.

And then to make matters worse he threatens to drug her 😃. Not cool man. I don't care if you don't like that she's trying to get out of her restraints (which, by the way, I think is a very natural and acceptable response given her situation), that's supposed to be your friend. Obviously it's no good to do to anyone but why would you think it's a good idea to threaten her like that?

Given everything he's done up until this point (as in not including this car scene), if it were me, I'd have a hard time forgiving him but I think it might've (BIG MIGHT AND ONLY BECAUSE I UNDERSTAND HE WAS CONCERNED ABOUT MY WELL-BEING) been possible. Someday in the far future, at least. But kidnap me against my will and tell me that if I don't calm down you'll inject me with drugs to knock me out? I'm sorry but I will never speak to you again. That's not normal, dude.

Merric believes being with Jimin (or any vampires) is a bad influence and even thinks it's possible Jimin brainwashed (Y/n). My guy 😑. Do you think she's a child incapable of making her own decisions?

Merric has found out about (Y/n) kissing Jimin and isn't pleased about it. "'There are so many other people out there that are better than him, you just don't realize it'" is what he said, to quote him. Pretty sure most of you figured it out but yeah, he was talking about himself 🥰. Because he likes MC 🥰. But has a really fucked up way of expressing those feelings 🥰

And then (Y/n)'s stupidity shines when she tells him about the guys having contact with werewolves 🙃. Granted, Merric isn't going to do anything about it. It's not like this is gonna come back to bite her in the ass. But like...there was no point in telling him that? And then you tell them their whole plan? Bruh, he's the enemy 🤦‍♀️

There's some mocking on (Y/n)'s part and then suddenly Merric is pulling over and attempting to drug her.

They continue driving after that uncomfortable experience and eventually (Y/n) tries kicking at the window to escape and MERRIC. GRABS HER BY THE HAIR AND THREATENS, ONCE AGAIN, TO DRUG HER.

IS THAT ALL YOU'RE GOOD AT? Also, I'm sorry but HOW IS ABUSING YOUR FRIEND CONSIDERED A GOOD MOVE ON YOUR PART? LIKE DUDE THIS IS SO VIOLENT I CAN'T ANYMORE.

They arrive at (Y/n)'s parents' home and wow. Hope you're proud of yourself Merric 🙄. Obviously out of the two the dad is worse. The mom just doesn't give a shit (which is a mood tbh). Merric seems to regret his decision (which, on a side note, doesn't make sense to me. Like you were her best friend and knew about her parents. You knew this is how she would be treated and somehow you're shocked by the dad's behaviour? Wut?).

Honestly, her punishment isn't that bad. Being locked in a room is probably the tamest thing that can happen. It sucks when you're not doing it willingly but hey, things could be worse 🤷‍♀️. Honestly, I had wanted to make the parents more strict and violent (?) but at the time I really didn't feel comfortable writing about them abusing her. Idk, didn't sit right with me for some reason. Besides, she's already had to deal with Merric's shit so she deserves a break lol.

The story ends with her getting locked in her room. She's upset and sorta just dies on the bed. It's okay girl, you'll make it 😤👍. You'll be out soon enough 👀
