Badminton rackets hurt y'all
Alrighty, so a few days have passed since (Y/n) was brought home. Metric has been visiting but he's mostly been receiving the silent treatment 🤭👀. I think it'd be more surprising if (Y/n) was actually talking to him and being all buddy-buddy.
Her mother comes in to give her some food. It's pretty evident her dad is upset and the mother is "'pretty disappointed'" and "'hope you will learn from this and won't try something that stupid again'". Bruh. She's, like, 20 or 21 (that's how I imagined (Y/n)). Why can't she live her own life? The redeeming quality about this woman is that she doesn't harm MC physically but still. Also, more importantly, why was my younger self so obsessed with having all these characters trying to control (Y/n)'s life and decisions? 💀
Merric is brought up and her mother comments on how she's proud of what he did and reminds (Y/n) that he cares for her. Honestly, he did in the beginning and it was obvious and he still does now but the issue is that what he's doing is fucked up. I do agree with (Y/n), though, and I'd be interested in seeing her parents' reactions to finding out he's been a wolf this entire time lol.
Kinda random but right before her mom leaves she tells (Y/n) when Merric comes to "'play nice'" and for some reason I can't help but imagine that scene from Toy Story with Sid and Woody? And the toys are, like, trying to traumatize him and he's holding Woody and he says that to Sid? Again, very random and off-topic but YEA.
ANYWHO.
Merric arrives not too long after and HIS FACE IS ALL FUCKED UP. AHAHAHA THAT'S WHAT YOU GET ASSWIPE. Turns out someone from his pack found out about him and Allyson working together (thank you Hobi 🥰) and gave him what he deserved. Also, love how this man explains every little detail about what happened. No one gives a shit. Thanks for sharing, now gtfo 😃
They argue a bit (mostly Merric finally getting annoyed and worked up) and. I'm sorry, this man gets mad at (Y/n) for telling him to calm down and accuses her of "'acting like a mother grizzly bear'" recently. MY GOD. HMM. I WONDER WHY 🙃? WHY ARE YOU SO STUPID? LIKE JFC THIS CHARACTER ANNOYS THE SHIT OUT OF ME. HE LITERALLY HAS, LIKE, TWO BRAIN CELLS AND IT'S SO DRAINING TO READ ABOUT HIM AT THIS POINT. HOW DO PEOPLE SURVIVE THIS BOOK?
OH AND THEN WHEN SHE TALKS BACK HE MAKES A MOVE TO HURT HER? B R U H H H H H H. I can't anymore. Imma just tap out at this point, forget about this project. Why is he so abusiiiiiiive 🤦♀️ 🙄. I know he cares about her but he's literally so toxic I caaaaan't.
Thank God he leaves (see you never, by the way 😘) because he's making it very hard for me to enjoy doing this. Mom is starting to be a bitch and questionable. Whoop-dee-fucking-doo.

My Lord, Merric is such a little bitch and I hate reading scenes with him at this point. Also there's not too much happening, it's literally just fighting back and forth until (Y/n) can get the fuck away and that makes reading this so exhausting 😪
