August 6, 2020

A package that was supposed to arrive tomorrow came today. And in any other situation, I would've been thrilled but MY DAD ANSWERED THE DOOR TO GET IT AND IT WASN'T SOMETHING HE WAS SUPPOSED TO KNOW ABOUT (OR ANYONE FOR THAT MATTER 😳) SO I NEARLY HAD A FUCKING HEART ATTACK

Oh boy, we're in for a ride.

To start, (Y/n) is taken to the nurse's office to get her neck patched up because, as Soomi pointed out, her neck is bleeding and they happen to live in a house with vampires. And sure, (Y/n) has a point about how Jimin would never drink from the neck because he's a romantic and wants to keep that for his special someone, but it doesn't excuse the fact he might still go a bit crazy, girl.

Also, I'd like to ask since when Miori became a registered nurse? Like the girl literally did all the fixing herself. Yeah, she's just putting a wrap around (Y/n)'s neck but like...isn't that Clarisse's job? You tryna get her fired and steal her spot? 🤨

(Y/n) gets fixed up and as she goes out into the hallway-

WHOA, SHE'S BEING SLAMMED AGAINST THE WALL BY JIMIN. BOI, CHILL OUT, YOU GONNA RATTLE HOMEGIRL'S BRAINS AROUND.

He quickly notices her neck and wants to know what happened. But first, MC has gotta address his behaviour. Believe it or not, getting pushed into walls isn't always enjoyable. Also, it's kinda...aggressive? And unnecessary? Especially since she's hurt. Plus, Jimin is a vampire so, like, BE CAREFUL BECAUSE ONE DAY YOU MIGHT ACTUALLY CAUSE HER TO FUSE WITH THE WALL. You wanna pin her against the wall during sexy time? Go right ahead, buddy 👍. But we don't need that pushy, violent shit right now, aight?

Anyways, (Y/n) tells him what happened. Only she doesn't.

She told him she got hurt but she didn't specify that it was Celeste who hurt her. Why is she protecting her you ask? WHO THE FUCK KNOWS. I WOULD'VE RATTED THE BITCH OUT BY NOW BUT 🤷‍♀️ (as much as I love Celeste, we don't like her when she's being a dipstick). This girl has put a knife to your neck TWO TIMES NOW. Why in God's name would you not want to get her removed from this house? This is not being nice (I mean, it is but you're being WAY too forgiving imo), this is just being beyond reasonable. You are playing a game with death, my dear.

(Y/n) decides to ditch Jimin to go find Celeste. She finds her in some sort of a library (BECAUSE OF COURSE JIMIN HAS ONE. FUCKING RICH BASTARD). And she's crying. Yay, transition to antagonist having a sad backstory that may or may not make you feel bad for them and sort of understand why they are who they are today 🙃

Celeste likes Jimin. Big surprise. But it's sort of on a different level than the other girls. She actually has true feelings for him whereas the other offerers are just infatuated with him (as in the weird crazy ones since we know Miori and Soomi aren't like that). Something that was never actually explicitly mentioned in the book but I thought I'd mention it here to help explain her feelings and how she is sort of different from the others. And she's upset because Jimin fell in love with (Y/n) instead of her.

Now, a lot of you don't feel bad for her, which I completely understand, but I, on the other hand, sympathize with her to some level. Do I think she should be a big bitch to (Y/n), come up with schemes to scare her off, and threaten to kill her with knives? Absolutely not. But I can imagine that seeing your crush with someone like (Y/n) doesn't exactly make you feel ecstatic. Especially because it's (Y/n). No offence, but that girl can be pretty damn annoying lol. She has her high moments, sure. I'm not dismissing those. But the negative generally tends to outweigh the positive in a person.

And need I remind you that (Y/n), too, was obsessed with Jimin and decided to become an offerer because she liked him? Not to mention she's also a vampire fanatic, pretty fucking obsessed with them, and a total geek. Some of you called Celeste a Sasaeng but (Y/n) isn't that different from her so doesn't that make her kind of on Celeste's level?

If I were Celeste, I would hate seeing Jimin with (Y/n), too--someone who appeared out of nowhere and managed to capture his attention. No disrespect to MC, but I find Celeste to be somewhat of a more interesting character? (THE KNIFE HANDLING IS COOL, OKAY?).

Just because you're dIfFeReNt FrOm OtHeR gIrLs and generally a nice person doesn't necessarily make you a better character. I like someone who has depth, not someone who is just seen as forgiving or like an angel and has random people that hate on them (and because of that, those people end up as the bad guys). That's not to say (Y/n) is a total bore. As I said, she has her character development moments. But I still think she's more bland than Celeste.

Celeste tried everything to have Jimin spare her so much as a glance and yeah, trying to get in his pants probably isn't such a good idea nor is it an attractive one. But (Y/n) is nothing special, I'm sorry. She naively believed in all these myths about vampires, carried around a bottle of holy water with her, her first dinner with Jimin consisted of her asking a bunch of questions about vampires, making it seem as if she was more interested in the race as a whole than Jimin. Sure, she's qUiRkY and DiFfErEnT 🤪, so maybe that's attractive to Jimin. And she wasn't trying to get him to fuck her immediately but not all of the other girls were like that and you don't see Jimin making heart eyes at them.

No offence, I, personally, wouldn't find her to be anything special. So I'm sure it's hella frustrating for Celeste.

Again, do I think she should've done all the things she did to (Y/n)? No. If you like Jimin then you should respect his choice instead of trying to sabotage the relationship. You don't wanna be that bitch. But I definitely understand that she's hurting and possibly even heartbroken.

Anywho, after that we learn about Celeste's past. Her father left and her mother is an alcoholic who chose booze over her kid, forcing Celeste to learn how to live on the streets. As much as (Y/n) may hate her family and her home, at least she has both. They learn ✨tHeY hAvE mOrE iN cOmMoN tHaN tHeY tHoUgHt✨. WoW, nEvEr SeEn ThAt HaPpEn In A bOoK bEfOrE 🙃 (no but on a more serious note, I do genuinely like Celeste so I'm lowkey happy this happened).

After that (Y/n) is ready to leave. She encourages Celeste a bit, telling her her special someone is out there. THE FACT ALL OF YOU SAY MERRIC IS JUST- OOF. I've got better plans for her ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
