I think I might've become addicted to shopping online 💀
So (Y/n) convinces Jimin to let her come along to go see Jungkook who has been attacked. Jimin is aNgRy so the car ride is a bit intense. Partway through she asks him to put on the seatbelt to save him from getting hurt in an accident and just. Jfdefvoicwt I don't know how I feel about this. Like yes, she has good intentions but at the same time, bitch he's a vampire. "'Save yourself from unnecessary pain'" she says. Girl it'll be there for, like, five seconds and then he'll heal. Again I know you're trying to be helpful but 😬
They arrive at the house (picture again 🤮) and WTH THE DRIVEWAY LOOKS SO WEIRD LMAO. It literally looks like it's made out of glass or something. Really weird.
Anywho, turns out Seokjin likes his offerers to call him "master" 😏. Hello sir, I see you. They go to his office where everyone is supposed to be and SURPRISE. JUNGKOOK IS COMPLETELY FINE. YOU'VE BEEN PRANKED 🤪
I'm living for Jimin's reaction. Also Yoongi making a bet on how he would've reacted and asking for money is just 👌. But back to Jimin, his "'back from drinking tea or some shit'" and "'explain to me why he looks like no one has even breathed on him'" lines are gold in my opinion. Highlight of the chapter right there (or is it? 👀).
So apparently Merric is the one who attacked Jungkook. It seems our werewolf friend has decided to team up with the bitch from hell to try and get (Y/n) back and away from Jimin. Like boy, why. I know you want her back but Allyson is 🤢. Merric bit Jungkook as a warning to Jimin, basically trying to say "if you don't let my friend go, I'm gonna kill yours next time".
And now I have conflicting feelings. (Y/n) is mad with Merric, more than mad, actually. Do I think that he should be going around threatening innocents just to get his friend back? No, I don't. Jungkook has nothing to do with it, it's not like he went after Jimin himself (still wouldn't necessarily agree with it tho). A part of me also understands he wants to do anything he can to get her back, however. But this also brings up the argument that he's being too...possessive? Or obsessive? I know he doesn't trust vampires but if she says she's fine there do you really think you should be going to these lengths to get her back? She won't be happy to know you're attacking people in order to get her back, especially when she told you she wants to stay with Jimin.
Just in general, though, I really hate it when people bring others into their plans when they've got no reason being involved. Like using Jungkook as bait/leverage? That's a coward's move right there. It's like you're not confident in your abilities alone to get shit done. So I'm disappointed in Merric.
But (Y/n) is just plain mad about this, even going as far as to say she wants to punch Merric in the face. Girl, don't be stupid like Bella (just kidding she already slapped him and no broken hand but I couldn't help but think of that scene when (Y/n) says that).
Also let's backtrack a bit because I just forgot to mention something. I noticed that during Jungkook's explanation at one point he kept referring to Seokjin as just that but Namjoon was "Namjoon-hyung". As I said in one of the previous chapters, Jungkook only calls them that when's he's sort of disregarding (Y/n)'s presence. I really don't know why he was only using the honorific for Namjoon 💀. He's supposed to be talking to Jimin mostly, explaining everything that went down, so that's why he's using it. Really, it should've been there with Seokjin so I don't know what I was doing. Confusing the hell out of everyone, that's for sure.
Speaking of him, Seokjin asks (Y/n) if she wants to stay with Jimin or leave, as in go back home. (Y/n) is conflicted and honestly, I kinda feel for her. She wants to stay with Jimin--she doesn't wanna go back home to her parents because they suck (which I realize at the time of publishing the chapter they hadn't really been revealed yet so it's hard to tell the severity but after finishing the book, we know they're pretty annoying). She worries, though, that if she says she wants to stay with Jimin it'll come off as her being selfish. If it were me, I would rather stay with Jimin too than go back to my controlling parents. At the same time tho, I would be worried about becoming a burden by staying. Decisions decisions 🤔
After Taehyung reassures her, she reveals the truth about wanting to stay and they assure her they'll be okay. They're a group of 7 vamps, they can handle this 😤👍
So they start making plans about where to go from there. Travelling in pairs and being cautious about where they hang out, that stuff. Hoseok brings up possibly using Merric's alliance against him like the king he is 🤩. When they're about to leave, I have to laugh. Namjoon is the one like "travelling alone is dangerous 😠" and then this man is like "aight, imma head out on my own". Like bruh 🗿
(Y/n) and Jimin head home and the drive is uneventful up until they arrive home. They have a quick chat about her staying, Jimin reassuring her that he can take care of her but if that if it starts to become too much he'll bring her home. Also, I love that this girl is like "'I'll trust in you guys'" and "'I'll do my best to hold out'". I- c r i n g e. You are literally gonna be sitting on the sidelines while they handle most of the fighting and action, what do you mean you'll do your best to hold out? I want to punch a wall.
The chapter really ends with a BANG though. Because THEY FINALLY KISS. IT'S HAPPENING 🎉. As they're standing on the porch before they go inside, Jimin just goes for it. LIKE FINALLY! LET'S GOOOO!
But then he leaves her standing alone outside so RIP 💀
