*Dabi POV*
I woke up with someone's arms around me. Hawks had his face buried in my chest and one of his wings was draped over top of me and him.
It was nice hearing him breathe lightly against my shirt. I wanted this to last forever. My arms were around his neck, allowing Hawks to lay his head on my arm. However, now my arm was asleep. I didn't care.
I heard a phone ring and cursed under my breath. If I moved, Hawks would wake up, but if I let it keep ringing he would still wake up. Slowly, I moved one arm and grabbed his phone off the bedside table and went to turn it off. Who the fuck was even trying to call at, I checked the time, two thirty in the morning?
Without looking at the contact, I hung up. Whoever it was could wait, my bird needed his sleep. I moved the phone back to the table. Before I had set it down, it started to ring again. With a huff, I brought it back to my face and put it on silent. The contact name gave me chills.
Endeavor is calling...
I again ignored the call, but almost imediently it came back on the screen again. Luckily, the phone was no longer ringing. I held the phone to my ear and answered it.
"Hawks where the fuck are you? Miruko just said that you are at your apartment when I asked her." He sounded angry. Well, I was angrier.
"He is sleeping, and it would be wonderful if you allowed him to stay that way." I whispered, voice rough from just waking up. There was a silence over the line before he spoke again.
"Who are you?"
"What does it matter? Hawks'll call you back when he wakes up. Now, excuse me, but I am going to be going back to sleep as well." And with that, I hung up. The call didn't come back onto the screen, so I put the phone down. As I did, I felt the weight on my arm lift slightly.
"What was that?" Hawks asked, yawning slightly. I leaned forward and gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
"Nothing you have to deal with right now. Go back to sleep." I shushed him, gently petting his wings and pulling him back to me.
"But,"
"Shhh, go to sleep. I'll tell you in the morning, I promise." He narrowed his eyes at me before giving in and laying his head against my chest.
I thought he was asleep a few minutes later. That was, until I heard him speak again.
"Hey Dabi."
"Yeah?" After a few seconds of nothing, he continued.
"I love you." I could feel a wave of happiness wash over me as I searched through my mind for words to say back.
"I, love you too." Hawks held me a little tighter until he fell back to sleep. The entire time, I was gently moving my hand over his soft feathers until I myself then drifted off.

*Hawks POV*
I woke up feeling hot. Like, really hot. As in, burning. My eyes snapped open to Dabi, who was holding onto me as if for dear life. He was pulling on my shirt hard, and then I noticed the smoke. I pushed away from him as fast as I could and ended up falling on my ass onto the floor.
I was looking around for the fire when I realized, Dabi was the thing on fire. He was still asleep, but he looked like he was in pain. Nothing else was burning, just him somehow.
"Dabi! Wake up!" I yelled at him, watching as I was helpless to do anything. He didn't wake, just curled in on himself. Bright blue flames danced across his back, and it looked horrifying.
I kept yelling at him to wake up, but it didn't work.
Quickly, I dashed into the kitchen and grabbed a glass, filling it with water. I don't know if I was trying to wake him up or put out the fire, but either way would be fine. Running back to the room, I threw the water onto him in hopes it would work.
He shot up when the cold water touched him, still in flames. As soon as he realized what was going on, the fire died down. I had made it to the window and opened it, trying to use my wings to fan the smoke out of the apartment before it effected the smoke alarm in the living room. Dabi was off the bed, pressed against the wall.
"Are you okay? What was that?" I asked, turning to face him with the window still open.
"A nightmare." He said, not looking directly at me.
"What about?"
"Damn Hawks, always trying to get into my personal life." He laughed, huskly.
"Keigo." I said in response. Dabi looked up at me with a questioning expression.
"Keigo?"
"That's my name, Keigo Takami. This is an informal time, so call me Keigo." I saw a smirk pull on his lips.
"Alright then, Keigo. If we're going that route, call me Touya." He said, glancing away from me.
