Chapter 50; A Happy Life

*Keigo's POV*

Some months later

Alright, everything's going to be fine. Everything will be fine.

I finally finished writing the note. It was short, but it didn't need to be long I guess. Just heartfelt.

I had been planning this for a few weeks now. I'm pretty sure the rest of the League knew, well, all except Touya. I had only told Toga, but I know she told Twice and Shigaraki, and Twice told everyone else.

But no one told Touya, so it's fine.

He was currently in our room, alone. I don't know what he was doing in there, but I wasn't really focused on it.

I was still freaking out about everything, I just wanted it to be good. I just wanted to make him happy. I asked Toga and Shigaraki what would be the best way, yet I still did everything myself. Sure, it wasn't much, but that's fine. Unless it isn't.

Shit what if it isn't enough?

I sucked in a huge breath before opening the door.

"Hey, Touya." He was laying on the floor looking at the ceiling. He glanced over to me with a smirk.

"What is it birdie?" He asked. I smiled back at him before gesturing to the door.

"I need to show you something." He looked amused while getting up. When he got to me, He wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"And what would that be?"

"It's a surprise." I smiled, leading him outside.

I continued leading him into the forest. Usually, I would fly, but Touya gets motion sick, so we walk. The entire time we walked, it was quiet. That would be fine, if I wasn't freaking out on the inside.

I noticed a tree that had a small bow tied to one of the branches. I could've sworn that the marker was further than that. We were already there? No, I needed a few more minutes.

Please.

No, fuck it, I can do it.

I kept walking with Touya a few more places before we turned. There was this wide empty part of the forest, but right now it wasn't empty. There was a box. I could see that he was confused, but we kept going.

"So, what are we doing here?" Oh yeah the note. I dug into my pocket to grab it.

Except it wasn't there.

I had taken forever to write that. And now it's just gone? What was I supposed to do? Maybe I could just play it off as a joke or something? No, I can do it. Note or not, I had to do it.

"Well, um, you remember what happened nine months ago?" I asked, looking up at him as we got closer to the center. He shook his head.

"Well, that was when we found eachother. I don't know if I'm being weird hosting something like this after nine months and not a year or something, but I just really wanted to do something like this with you."
