*Dabi POV*
I was climbing, something. A building, the building. I was going to the storage, but I wasn't going with the fire escape. I was climbing the wall, somehow sticking to it, and I felt as if I was running from something. My heart was pounding against my ribs as I continued climbing. The building seemed to never end. I tried to look down, but all I saw was a fire, bright blue and red. I wanted to run, but I was off the ground, if I fell, I would die.
I finally somehow got to the top of the building, but the fire grew and consumed the building beside it.
The man was standing on the building helplessly. He was watching the fire grow, but he couldn't run. The fire was getting closer and closer, and I had to save him. Without another thought, I ran and jumped over to his balcony. He didn't look startled, but he took my outstretched hand. I didn't remember reaching out for him, but I had him now.
I turned to see the other building was now swallowed with blue and red flames. I pulled the man with me to the fire escape and dragged him with me up. Up up up, I couldn't stop running. The man didn't say anything, just continued following. As the fire roared below us, I saw a single red feather fall down and burn in the fire.
Hawks.
I continued running with the man, getting to the top of the roof. Hawks was there, and he wasn't in his hero costume. He was wearing the same outfit from the other night. When he saw me, I felt the man let go of me. I turned to him, and he was just standing there. He was staring off at the edge of the building, watching the fire below.
I yelled out to him, but I could hear anything. I went to grab him, but saw my arm. Only slight burn scars were there, not nearly as horrible as my current scars.
I watched the man turn to me before falling, imediently engulfed in the flames. He didn't even scream.
"Dabi, are you okay?" I shook my head watching my arms burn, bleed, scar up. It was like a time lapse, I couldn't stop it. I didn't hear him come up behind me, but I felt Hawks arms wrap around me from behind. He wasn't moving from that spot, hugging me with my back flush against his chest.
I stayed against him, letting him be my pole to lean on. I needed someone, and Toga was no where to be seen.
Slowly, he started to move to my front with his arms still around me. He leaned up and caught my lips with his, but he didn't pull away. It was as if the fire wasn't there, as if a man didn't just fucking jump off the roof into the raging inferno below. I felt his hand start going down more, causing a wave of new heat to run through me.
"Stop." I said as soon as he pulled away. This wasn't right. His hands were messing with my belt, and my words didn't stop him. I grabbed his wrists, or I tried to. I couldn't move. I wanted to move, I wanted it to stop. He didn't stop, just pulled my belt away from me before moving back behind me.
My arms were pulled together and tied with my belt. Suddenly, I was pushed towards the edge of the building. The only thing stopping me from plummeting into the fire was Hawks and the belt around my wrists. I could feel the fire lick at me, just inches below the roof.
"Hawks, please."
"Hawks?" A new voice said, a voice that turned my blood cold.
I turned to see him standing there in place of Hawks. Actually, more like beside Hawks. He was on the ground, every feather burned to a crisp. He looked dead. I refused to look at the man beside him.
"What did you do to him?" He smirked glancing at Hawks on the ground. I was given another push closer to the roof. I didn't want to die like this. I didn't care if I looked weak.
