I slowly made my way to Clarke, who was looking at Finn's body on the ground. When I reached her I pursed my lips before speaking. "You okay?"

The girl glanced at me before looking away, shaking her head. "I killed him."

I let out a small breath before grabbing Clarke and pulling her into a hug as she cried into my shoulder; just like when we were kids.

"What if they take you away, Aiden?" Nine-year-old Clarke cried. "What if I never see you again? They'll probably float you when you turn 18. What is\f they take me away?"

I bit my lip to keep myself from crying. I pulled the young girl into a hug, running my hand over her hair soothingly as she cried. "Shh. Shh. No one's going to take me away from you, Clarke. I promise, okay? Mom and dad would never do that."

Clarke nodded her head as I pulled away from the hug. I held onto her face and looked her in the eye. "Clarke, I hope this isn't the last time we see each other, but if it is, may we meet again."

"May we meet again," Clarke mumbled. I closed my eyes, pressing a small kiss to my sister's forehead.

"Aiden, Clarke," I heard my mom say. "It's time to go."

I walked beside Bellamy, Clarke in front of us. We're headed to the village where the massacre happened for some ritual thing. Clarke had asked Bellamy, Lincoln, Octavia, and myself to come along with. Raven came on her own account because she wanted to be with Finn. Abby and Kane walked a few feet behind Bellamy and me.

I watched at Bellamy walked faster so he was beside Clarke. "Hey, you doing alright?"

The girl glanced at him before nodding as she answered. "Yeah."

"You did the right thing."

Clarke looked at Bellamy. "Now I get to live with it. You still think this truce is a bad idea, don't you?"

Bellamy answered. "I think we're wasting time with politics while our friends are in trouble."

"We need their army to get to Mount Weather, Bellamy, and you know it."

"Their army has been getting their ass kicked by Mount Weather forever," Bellamy stated. "What we need is an inside man? Someone to be the eyes and ears."

"Forget it, it's too dangerous," Clarke said shaking her head.

"Clarke, if you and Aiden can make it out, I can make it in," Bellamy tried.

"I said no."

Bellamy scoffed slightly. "Since I don't take orders from you...I'm gonna need a better reason."

"I can't lose you too. Okay?"

I narrowed my eyes at Bellamy as he slowed to walk beside me. I smacked his arm, causing his head to snap to me.

"What was that for?" He asked, confusion written all over his face.

"You're seriously considering going into Mount Weather?" I scoffed. "Bellamy, Clarke, and I almost died trying to escape. What makes you think it'll be any easier getting in?"

Bellamy licked his lips, letting out a sigh. "You got a better idea?"

I nodded. "Yeah. Form an alliance with the grounders and use their army, as Clarke said."

"Aiden--"

"No, Bellamy," I cut him off. "It's too dangerous. There's no way you're going into Mount Weather; not if I've got something to do about it. I've already lost too much... You're too important to me, okay?"
