I groaned in pain quietly as I shifted my body. I slowly opened my eyes, taking in my surroundings. I'm in a tent. How long was I out? I sat up slightly, stopping when I saw Abby walk into the tent. I didn't say anything as she walked toward me.

"Aiden...it's been a while," she said. When I didn't say anything, the woman sighed. "You have to talk to me, Aiden, I'm your--"

"Don't you dare," I cut her off. She looked t me, a bit startled. "Don't you dare pull the mother card on me, Abby. Not after everything you've said to me."

"Aiden, you know I didn't mean what I said," Abby tried, but I wasn't taking any of it.

I shook my head. "If you didn't mean it, you wouldn't have said it. Now, do what you're going to do. I want to get out of here as soon as possible."

A small smile appeared on Abby's face as she cleaned up my leg. "Always wanting to get back on your feet; just like your father."

"I assume you're not talking about Jake, right?" I shot.

Abby gave me a look of shock. "I-I don't know what you're--"

"Raven told me. I know Jake's not my father."

The woman pursed her lips tightly. "What happened to you're leg? That's a pretty nasty cut."

"I punched a grounder in the face so he stabbed me in the leg."

Clarke walked into the tent from another part of the tent, a small smile on her face. "You're awake."

I nodded. "Yeah."

"Ma'am," a woman said. I looked toward the entrance to see a woman in a guard's uniform. "Movement in the west woods."

"Grounders?" Abby asked.

The woman shook her head, a small smile appeared on her lips. "I don't think so."

I followed Clarke and Abby out of the tent. I stopped when I saw Raven, a smile appearing on my lips.

"I've been waiting out here all night," she said, hugging me the both of us. "Abby said you guys needed sleep."

I looked at Raven's leg, which was currently in a leg brace.

"Raven, I--" Clarke began, but Raven cut her off.

"It sucks, but I'm dealing with it."

I heard Abby shout for the gate to be opened. I watched as a girl I had never seen before, Octavia, Monroe walked into camp with someone else; Bellamy. I was too in shock to move as Clarke took off running.

"Aiden, you're boyfriend's waiting," Raven joked, snapping me out of my trance-like state.

I shook my head. "He is not my boyfriend."

I bit my lip and began running toward the group, as best I could. When I reached Bellamy, I immediately wrapped my arms around his neck, hugging him tightly. I felt his arms wrap around my waist almost immediately, holding me tight.

"Finally," I heard Octavia mumble under her breath. I pulled away from the hug, trying to keep myself from crying.

"Nice to see you, too, sunshine," Bellamy joked quietly. I let out a small laugh. I turned to Octavia, hugging her as well.

"How many are with you?" Bellamy asked.

I shook my head. "None."

"Where's Finn?" Clarke asked. Finn's alive?

Bellamy's face fell. "Looking for you."

°°°

"What? No. You can't just cut them loose," Clarke said, shaking her head. I just rolled my eyes; typical Abby. She wants to cut Murphy and Finn off, and not search for them.
