30 | Blood Must Have Blood: Part 2

I opened my eyes. I must've fallen asleep. I don't know how long I was out, but it must've been at least a few hours. I got out of my bed, slowly. I yawned as I stood up. When I walked to the door, I jumped back in surprise when it opened.

"Jackson?" I asked. "What are you doing here? I thought you were at Mount Weather?"

The man looked sad. My eyebrows furrowed as I spoke. "Jackson...what happened?"

The man explained everything. Apparently Lexa betrayed us and made a deal with Mount Weather to get her people out, but our people weren't part of the deal. Also, Abby, Kane, Monroe, and Miller's dad had been kidnapped and taken to Mount Weather for more bone marrow. And, Raven and Wick aren't back, which probably means they've been taken too.

"We have to save them," I stated, going to walk out of my room. Jackson grabbed my arm, stopping me.

"No," he said with a shake of his head. "If we go to Mount Weather, they'll kill us too. We can't risk losing anyone else."

I scoffed. "That's my mother, Jackson. And my sister. My friends... Bellamy. I can't lose all of them in one day."

Jackson just shook his head. "They'll find a way out, Aiden."

"How do you know?" I shot. He didn't say anything as he turned and walked out of my room. My eyes began watering and I bit my lip to hold back the tears that threatened to spill. My entire body felt weak at the thought of losing everyone. Octavia, Jasper, Monty, Clarke, Raven, my mom... Bellamy. I held back my tears; I need to stay strong. I held my head high.

"I...am I badass," I said aloud. "I am strong... And I will get through this."

It's been a while and there haven't been any updates. No news what so ever. I'm really worried, but I'm staying strong. If our people need a leader, I'm going to step up because it's the right thing to do. I hate just waiting around, but there's nothing I can do. I heard voices outside, and the sound of the gate opening. I stood from my bed, quickly making my way outside. It's mid-day and the sun is bright, causing me to squint slightly. Our people from Mount Weather walked through the gate.

"Jasper," I announced, walking to him. I pulled him into a hug and he hugged back. "It's good to see you."

"You too."

I greeted Harper, Monroe, Raven, and everyone else. I'm even happy to see Miller.

"Abby," I said to the woman on a stretcher, a look of sadness in my eyes. "I'm so sorry."

The woman shook her head. "It's not your fault."

I didn't say anything as she was carried away to medical.

I smiled when I saw Octavia. The girl smiled when she saw me, jogging to me and pulling me into a hug. "You're alive."

I hugged back, chuckling slightly. "Course I am. And so are you." I pulled away, looking at her. "I'm glad you're okay."

She nodded. "You too."

I looked toward the gate to see Bellamy walking into camp. An enormous wave of relief washed over me as I ran to him, ignoring the pain. I didn't bother holding back my tears as I wrapped my arms around his neck. He seemed shocked at first, but immediately hugged back when he realized it was me. When I pulled away, I pressed my lips to Bellamy's. He kissed back immediately. Bellamy cupped my face with his hand; the kiss only lasted a few seconds but after I pulled away, I noticed a small smirk on Bellamy's lips.

"Well, hello to you, too, sunshine," he said.

I lip quivered slightly as I pulled him into another hug. "I thought you were dead," I mumbled.

Bellamy didn't say anything as he wrapped his arms around me. I looked over Bellamy's shoulder to see Monty and Clarke. I let go of Bellamy, hugging Monty first.

"It's good to see you," I mumbled into his shoulder.

"You too."

When I pulled away, I smiled at him, patting his shoulder gently before looking at Clarke. I know the last time she saw me, I was a mess. I walked to her, pulling her into a tight hug. She hugged back, tightly, but not tight enough to hurt me.

"You're awake," she mumbled. "Thank God."

I smiled. "You can't get rid of me that easily."

When I pulled away, Bellamy had walked to us, standing by my side.

"I think we deserve a drink," he commented, looking at the blonde girl.

Clarke nodded. "Have one for me."

Oh...I know what this is. I had overheard someone say that all the people from Mount Weather were dead and that Clarke, Bellamy, and Monty had been the ones to do it. If it meant saving my friends, I probably would've done it, too.

"Hey, we can get through this," Bellamy said but Clarke shook her head.

I furrowed my eyebrows slightly at what Clarke said next. "I'm not going in."

"Clarke, if you need forgiveness...I'll give that to you," Bellamy stated. "You're forgiven... Please, come inside."

The girl looked like she was about to cry as she looked at Bellamy and I. "Take care of them for me."

I butted in, but Clarke interrupted me. "Clarke--"

"Seeing their faces every day...is just gonna remind me of what I did to get them here."

"What we did," Bellamy corrected. "You don't have to do this alone."

Clarke looked into camp before look back at Bellamy. "I bear it, so they don't have to."

"Where are you gonna go?" I asked Clarke quietly.

The girl shook her head after a few seconds. "I don't know."

I licked my lips as Clarke placed a kiss on Bellamy's cheek, pulling him into a hug. "May we meet again," she mumbled.

When she pulled away, she turned to me, her eyes watering. I pulled her into a hug, a single tear slipped from my eye.

"May we meet again," she whispered, her voice breaking.

"May we meet again," I repeated. She took a step before turning and walking toward the forest. I was hesitant, but followed Bellamy into camp, not looking back at the girl behind me.

THEY KISSED!!! OH MY GOD!! I WAS LITERALLY SHAKING SO BAD WHEN I WROTE THIS!!! Surprise! I hope you guys enjoyed An Angel In Disguise because that's it. So much has changed. I didn't really like Aiden at first to be completely honest, but as the story continued, I grew to absolutely LOVE her. She's so cool! I love her like my own daughter and so far, out of all my OC'S so far, she is by far my favorite. Her growth was amazing. She never gives up, risking her own life to save others. Such. A. Badass. And Bellaiden is fucking REAL! I've been waiting SO long to write that kiss, you guys don't even know. But I hope you guys will continue on with Aiden in her journey in Hidden Demons.
