"𝗛𝗘𝗬, 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘?" 𝗜 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗜𝗡 𝗔 𝗛𝗨𝗦𝗛𝗘𝗗 whisper. I have a friend who always meets me in the library. He's a few years younger than me, and my mom doesn't want me to keep seeing him, but I don't care.
"Yeah," I hear the boy answer from the other side of the bookshelf. "I'm here."
I smile. "Cool."
We're both silent for a moment before the boy speaks, "Are you ever going to tell me your name?"
"Are you ever going on tell me yours?" I ask.
"No."
"Well then, there you go."
"Hey, can you shut the hell up?" I shout from my tent in annoyance as I listen to a bunch of boys shout and laugh. They eventually quiet down, causing me to let out a sigh of relief as I lay back down in my bed, wanting nothing more than for my headache to go away.
"Hey, uh, where'd you get the clothes?" I hear a voice ask from just outside my tent. The voice sounds like it belongs to a boy named Atom; one of Bellamy's followers.
"Buried the two kids who died during the landing," I hear Wells answer. Oh, boy. If this involves Wells, something's going to happen. I walk out of my tent to see Atom and Wells standing in front of the drop ship. Wells is holding a pile of clothes and boots.
"Smart," Atom praises before shrugging. "You know, I'll take it from here. There's always a market--."
He goes to grab the clothes, but Wells pulls them away. "We share based on need, just like back home."
"You still don't get it, do you, Chancellor?" I hear Bellamy ask, walking out of the drop ship without a shirt on. He's fit, I'll give him that. I watch as a girl follows close behind, wearing a pair of pants and her bra. I roll my eyes, crossing my arms over my chest as the girl kisses Bellamy before walking away from the drop ship. "This is home now. Your father's rules no longer apply."
Bellamy walks towards Wells, taking an article of clothing from him. Wells attempts to take it back, but Atom holds him back.
"Oh, no, no, Atom. Atom, hold up," Bellamy says and Atom lets go of Wells. "You want it back? Take it."
The dark-skinned boy glares at Bellamy before throwing the clothes on the ground behind him. A group of boys hurl themselves at the clothing. "Is this what you want? Chaos?"
"What's wrong with a little chaos?" Bellamy asks, his smirk full of self-confidence. He then pulls the shirt he took from Wells over his head. Suddenly, there's a scream, causing all of us to run in the direction of the noise. When we reach the area, I see Murphy holding a girl right above a fire, a nasty smirk on his face.
"Bellamy," he calls out. "Check it out. We want the Ark to think that the ground is killing us, right? Figure it'll look better if we suffer a little bit first."
Wells suddenly runs at Murphy, pushing him off the girl. "Let her go!"
He then looks at Bellamy, disappointment written all over his features. I stand far enough away to not be noticed, but still close enough to witness everything.
"You can stop this," Wells states.
"Stop this?" Bellamy asks. "I'm just getting started."
I'm kind of on the fence about what Bellamy's doing. I get why he's doing it, but I feel like some things he's taking it a bit too far. I watch Murphy come up to Wells and punch him square in the face. I wince, not expecting it. Murphy goes after Wells again, this time punching him in the stomach. Everyone begins cheering as Murphy and Wells continue fighting.
