FLASHBACK

(a/n: I'm gonna change Jiyeon's boss into his name.)

Gyeong: "We need to keep going. And look for her!"

He bayed viciously. He was having a talk with the whole gang NCT.

Taeyong: "We're trying boss, but she's no longer in this town. It seems like she fled away."

Gyeong: "Then we have to spread and look for her all over South Korea! I'm not gonna let her get away just like that."

Jungwoo and Taeil looked at each other. Gyeong was obviously talking about their friend Jiyeon. But what was Gyeong gonna do once he finds her? She was their best friend and didn't want anything to happen to her.

NCT bowed their heads before walking out of Gyeong's office.

Gyeong: "Taeil, stay here."

Taeil stopped his tracks. He and Jungwoo glanced at each other before he gave him a pat on the shoulder and left the room, leaving Taeil.

Taeil: "Yes, boss?"

Gyeong: "I know you have a very close relationship with Jiyeon. You guys are friends, aren't you?"

Taeil hesitantly nodded his head. He was hoping to not get their friendship involved into this.

Gyeong: "Tell me, where is she?"

Taeil: "I don't know, boss."

Gyeong: "Are you ratting on me?"

Gyeong gave him a warning look. Taeil gulped.

Taeil: "I'm being  honest boss. I haven't been able to contact her since that day."

Gyeong let out a heavy sigh. The old man rested his hands on his desk and leaned closer.

Gyeong: "I hope you're not lying, Moon Taeil. Because if I find out that you did, I'm going to reveal to Jiyeon what you have done in the past once we find her."

Taeil stayed silent. There was indeed something that Jiyeon didn't know and Taeil has been hiding from her.

Gyeong: "And you can join her in her death."

END OF FLASHBACK

SKZ and Jiyeon got ready and drove to the event. They were dressed nicely in their suits and dress.

Jiyeon: "What kind of event is it?"

Jeongin: "It's YG's birthday party. Our boss was invited and he invited us."

Jiyeon was kind of looking forward to see SKZ's gang boss. She wanted to ask him how he knew Jiyeon and why he gave the boys the task to protect her.

Jiyeon: "So your boss is also ITZY's boss?"

Hyunjin: "Yup. And also GOT7, DAY6, TWICE, WG (Wonder Girls), 2PM..."

Jiyeon: "That's a lot to handle...were they invited as well?"

Jeongin: "I don't think so. He only invited us because he wanted to meet you."

Minho: "You guys can do what you want. Boss will call us when he's here."
