I wake up by a hand covering my mouth, my eyes shoot open and look up to see Alby.

I rip his hand from my mouth, "What the hell Alby." I whisper seeing as we're surrounded by sleeping boys.

"Time for your tour Greenie." He begins to walk out of the packed room and I quickly follow after him.

"Why do you keep calling me Greenie, you know my name," I ask once we're out of the room and walking around the Glade.

"Because you're the newbie." He smirked as he saw my annoyance. A minute goes by until he speaks again.

"We eat here, we sleep here, we grow our own food, we build our own shelter," He began "Whatever we need the box provides. The rest is up to us." He points to the cage I came up in yesterday.

"The box," I whisper to myself.

"Yeah, it gets sent up once a week with anything we ask for within reason. After a month goes by a new Greenie gets sent up, this month that's you." He takes his finger from the box and directs it towards me.

"Sent up?" I finally realise what he said, "By who, who put us here?" Alby chuckles softly then brings his eyes back to meet mine.

"The creators." I scrunch my face and furrow my brows in confusion, Alby gives me an empathetic look, "You'll get used to it."

I hummed unconvinced and carried on following Alby, by this time most of the Glader's were awake and getting breakfast. Alby and I made our way over to the watchtower and I stood at the bottom of the leaning structure.

"You sure that's safe?" I called up to Alby who was already halfway to the top.

"Would I be climbing it if it wasn't?" He called back and carried on climbing.

"Probably," I grumble to myself and take a deep breathe before I begin ascending the tower.

~~~
"What took you so long Greenbean?" He snickered as I finally clambered my way to the top.
"I wasn't that long," I mutter and fold my arms over my chest as I look over the Glade, it's a lot bigger than I originally thought.
"This is all we got, worked hard for it." He looked down to me and saw my look of awe as I peered over the vibrant green square, "You respect this place you and I are gonna get along just fine."
I dead-panned over to him "We already get along just fine." I remarked with a smirk written across my face.
I take my eyes back to the Glade and my sight sets on the opening in one of the walls, "What's out there." I gesture to it and Alby licked his lips as he thought of what to say.
"We have three rules here, first," he stuck up one finger "Do your part, we can't have no slackers. Tomorrow you'll start doing trials for each job to see which your best at, second," he stuck up another finger "Never harm another Glader, do that and you get banished."
"Banished to where?" I interrupted him but he just ignored my question and stuck up a third finger.
"Third... never go beyond those walls." He took his three fingers and pointed to opening.
"What's out there?" I ask once he had finished telling me the rules.
"Nothing good." He concluded, after that, we sat down and just took a moment to relax.
"Alright Greenie, question time." I looked to him confused by what he meant "Ask me anything you want."
I thought for a moment until I responded "Why can't I remember anything but my name?" It was a lie but I wasn't going to tell anyone that I recognised Newt and Archie, what if they thought I was a spy from the creators?
