Newts pov

Archie and Minho both fell onto the ground, grass stains covered their clothes and Lucy rolled out of Archie's arms. I pushed past everyone surrounding her so I could get to her side and see if she was alright.

"Lucy!" My voice broke when I finally got to her, she was limp and unconscious on the ground, her ankle looked out of place and she had a large gash on her forehead. I wiped the fresh blood from her head and looked her up and down.

"Lucy, can you hear me?" I whispered gently as I lowered my head to her mouth, I let out a sigh I hadn't realised I had been holding in when I felt her warm, scarce breathing on my cheek.

"Get Clint and Jeff!" I looked up to the boys who were stood frozen looking down at Lucy's senseless body, "Don't all go at once!"

"Is she okay?!" Archie comes up behind me and takes Lucy in his lap, cradling her as if she was a baby. His hands cupped her cheeks and he replicated my previous moves by checking to make sure she was breathing. My hands clenched into fists as I saw Archie whisper into Lucy's ear, why is this dumbass trying to talk to her she can't hear him?!

"Everyone get back to your jobs or whatever you were doing!" Alby made his way to the crowd and everyone went off their separate ways.

"Archie get her to the Med-Jacks, what happened Minho?" Alby voice was quieter and directed his question towards Minho. Archie was too busy taking Lucy to the Med-Jacks to answer.

"Running... grievers... chased." Minho was gaining back control of his breathing.

"You saw a Griever!" I added to the conversation, "Did it sting any of you? Did it sting Lucy? How many were there?" I showered him in questions.

"We saw two and no it didn't sting any of us." Minho's panting had subsided and I helped him stand.

"Then how'd she get hurt?"

"Archie was running with her then I think she fell and I heard a pop and a crack noise then I turn around and see Archie running after me with her in his arms," Minho explains waving his arms in every direction possible whilst he spoke.

"So it was Archie fault?" I replied in monotone.

"What? Did you listen to a word I just said? I said she probably fell."

"Yeah probably," I rolled my eyes, "I'm going to see if she's okay."

Lucy's pov

There was a girl sitting in a chair, red hair, bright blue eyes. She was sat in a chair with someone else, he had dark brown hair and honey eyes, moles complimenting his skin tone which was a little darker than the girls.

He looked to be comforting her, his arm around her shoulder and her head resting on his chest. Upon closer inspection, her eyes were red and puffy as if she'd just been crying non-stop for hours. After a moment I could hear what they were saying.

"It'll be okay Lu, I'm here for you, I'll always be here for you." He rubbed her back in circular motions but tears didn't stop coming from her eyes, it was clear the sight of the girl crying upset him but from the looks of it, he wasn't going to show any sign of weakness around the fragile redhead.

"It's my fault T, all of this is my fault." The girl choked out between sobs.

"No it isn't we all did it, it wasn't just you." He comforted whilst twirling strands of her wavy locks in his fingers, that's when I notice his other hand entwined with hers. His hand was twice the size of hers.
