A cough from a Glader nearby woke me up. My pillow under my head was warm but hard, I didn't think too much of it as the cushions in this place aren't the comfiest of things. A minute of trying to muster up the energy open my eyes went by and still zero willpower came to me.

I lay there motionless, my blanket seeming to cover me to the point of suffocation. A warmth runs through my body yet a shiver spreads through my blood. I dig my head further into my pillow and I recognise Minho's obnoxious yet intoxicating snickers from somewhere near me, then Archie I think clearing his throat obviously trying to get someone's attention. What are they doing? I thought.

That's when my hammock gets rocked a little more than gently, causing me to almost fall out. A pair of arms I hadn't noticed before wrap around me tighter, saving me from tumbling onto the cold floor of the Homestead.

My eyes shoot open to see who's arms they were and my breath hitches in my throat. Newt's eyes were closed and his hair was a dishevelled mess - although a few of his loose, blond locks had fallen into adorable, soft curls. His lips were parted slightly and I felt his morning breath on my face, a light snore filling my ears.

I didn't realise how long it had been since I opened my eyes and it had only just registered that Newt was in my hammock and I was resting on his chest. I looked around and saw Minho and Archie staring at us, Minho smirking and trying to subside his laughs whilst Archie was more glaring - not at me though.

"You having fun there, Greenie." Minho teased and I mentally throw daggers at him.

"Slim it." I half-whisper half yell, trying not to wake Newt. My mind goes back to last night and how I had fallen asleep with him there, he didn't leave as I expected him too. Why? I mentally questioned myself.

"How'd you two shanks end up like that then?" Minho pestered, gesturing a finger between the two of us. I subtly sit up and successfully don't wake up the sleeping boy in-front of me.

"I honestly don't know, I thought he'd leave after I fell asleep," I answer honestly, I truly did expect him to leave but I can't say I'm complaining that he didn't.

"Whatever you say Greenie," He laughs, "I still don't believe you." Archie squirms in his hammock just a few away from mine.

"Why do you think I'm lying?" I ask in a pathetic little girl voice, hoping it would make my chances of an answer higher.

"I've said it before and I'll say it again, Greenbean." He sighed deeply, "Your completely and painfully oblivious to almost everything around you." He smiled knowingly and strolled off to get some breakfast presumably - leaving me, an asleep Newt and a clearly uncomfortable Archie.

"Hey Arch, you alright there?" I ask. My hand rests on Newt's chest to support my body and I'm sat in-between his legs.

He stumbles on his words at first but soon regains the ability to speak, "Fine, I'm fine." He squeaks out, his voice was a lot higher than usual.

"You sure?" We make eye contact and when we do his pupils dilate.

"Y-yeah." He stutters and practically runs out of the room, following after Minho quickly.

"Okayyy." I drag out to myself.

Looking back down at the blond I notice a few things about him I hadn't seen before, his neck is dotted with a few almost unseeable moles and his eyebrows are incredibly outgrown. With every small snore, a little bit of saliva gets caught at the back of his throat, causing his Adam's apple to bop when he swallows it.

His stomach rumbles and he grunts softly, squeezing his eyes shut tight. His arms pat around him for a few seconds until one of his hands touches just above my knee, I flinch under his touch and I think he notices. His long eyelashes unleash his warm brown eyes. When he sees me staring down at him his expression changes to shock but also... joy?
