Imagine being evicted from your home by Tom Nook 😍

You cry as you are dragged from your bed by a masked figure.

"What the fuck??? Let me go!" You scream as you are forcibly removed from your home.

As your front door slams shut, you catch a glimpse of a striped tail. Your heart sinks as recognition flashes in your sleepy mind.

"T-Tom Nook?" You rasp out, your confusion audiable to your own ears. Why was the shop clerk kidnapping you?!

"Yes, yes." Tom Nook mumbles casually. "Good evening, Y/n."

You stare up at his calm expression.

"Why...Why did you bring me out here?" You ask hesitantly. When he made no hostile move towards you, you continue. "Why did you break into my home??"

Tom shrugs.

"Ah, didn't you hear?" He states. "That isn't your home anymore."

You gawk at him.

"But-"

"I was tasked with removing you so that the new tenant could move in by tomorrow morning." He explains in a bored tone, his attention on the trees surrounding your home.

You feel your face heat up at his indifference.

"Are you fucking joking? I paid for that shitty ass house! You can't just kick me out!"

At your outburst, Tom laughs dryly.

"You never paid off the final fee, Y/n."

Shit. He takes notice of your guilty expression but says nothing.

Desperate to change his mind, you prop yourself up into a sitting position.

"You said I had as long as I wanted." You remind him slowly.

Tom shrugs again before returning his gaze on the trees. He appears to be waiting for someone...

"Well, yes." He finally replies. "But you probably weren't planning on doing that, and the new tenant offered me much more money than you did."

So that was what this was about?? Gaining more money?!

A spike of anger flares in your stomach.

"Greedy whore." You spit darkly.

Tom chuckles good-naturedly.

"Oh." He sighs. "That one isn't new. Anyways, Apollo will be here soon, so I recommend that you leave before he-"

"Apollo?" Your ex husband...the main target of these chapters...what did he have to do with this?

Tom eyes you questionably before nodding slowly. "Yes. He bought the property."

Of course he would. He knew how much this home, this town, meant to you!  Ever since your failed marriage...he's been out for blood.

Not literally, though. You were sure a piece of him still loved you.

"That piece of fucking shit!" You cry out, your voice breaking underneath the weight of his betrayal.

"Yes,yes." Tom continues disinteretedly as you begin to sob. He glances around your home before leaning in closely. "He tried paying me to do something a bit more...illegal...but his offers weren't very high."

This catches your attention. You glance up at Tom curiously.

"To do...what?" You question.

To your dismay, Tom shrugs again.

"Well, legally, I can't say." He says, but offers a smile when you glare at him. "But because I would love to see where this will go...he tried getting me to murder you. Asked why. Wouldn't say."

This new relevation leaves you numb. So Apollo didn't care for you as much as you thought he might...

Instead of crying, you raise an eyebrow.

"You're....a hitman?"

Tom laughs, his eyes glinting with what seems like pride.

"Not officially." He informs you. " Just a hobby. I much prefer harassing people for mo-"

You cut him off. "How much?"

Tom blinks in confusion.

"How much...what?"

"How much for your services?"

A slow smile spreads on his face.

"Well, for a long time customer...how about 4 million bells?"

"Deal."

He helps you to your feet as a nearby tree begins to rustle.

"It'll be done by tonight." Tom whispers in your ear before signaling for you to leave.

The strong howling of the wind drowns out your hurried escape, as well as that night's events.
