First Time Cuddling- Neji and Gaara

I'm a HUGE softy for Neji and Gaara😭❤️

Neji~

• Neji knows cuddling and physical affection are important in a relationship, but he's a bit hesitant

• He really hasn't held anyone before and he doesn't want to mess it up

• You respect him too much to pressure him so he's definitely the one to initiate it

• He secretly hopes you don't make a huge deal of it, he'd get a little embarrassed

• He really wasn't even thinking about it, but he saw you all huddled up on the couch looking adorable

• He couldn't help but want to feel you in his arms for the first time

      You were sitting on the couch, reading a book while Neji was in the dining room, eating dinner. It was peaceful and quiet, but you could feel Neji stealing little glances at you, but you ignored it, still engrossed in your book.

      It wasn't long until you felt the couch dip as your boyfriend sat down beside you. "Hey," you murmured, not looking up. "Hey."
      You felt tentative hands grasp around your waist, lifting you up as if you weighed nothing.

"Neji-" He silently sat you down on his lap, his arms wrapping around your stunned form. "You just looked so cute..." He cleared his throat, "I just wanted to hold you, is this okay?"

      He leaned back against the arm of the couch and you laid against his chest, smile wide. "Of course. Thank you."
     His arms tightened, and you reopened your book, content to lay on the Hyuga while you read. "Will you read to me?" You gave him a small smile and nodded.

      You read for a while until your vision started to go blurry. You felt yourself growing tired, and you couldn't stop yawning.
     "I think it's time for someone to sleep. C'mon, love." He lifted you up, almost like one would with a small child, your arms around his neck and your legs around his waist. "Will you stay with me?"
      The question obviously startled him a bit, but he quickly hid it. He set you down gently on your bed. "I'd be happy to." He lifted up the covers before laying himself down behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist and tucking him into you.

     "Goodnight, (Y/N)." You pressed a small kiss to the only place you could reach; his collarbone. "Goodnight, Neji."

Gaara~

• This boy never had any physical affection growing up, so he's nervousss

• Plans everything out like he's going into battle

• Definitely asks Temari for help

• He so thinks he's ready, like what was he even scared of?

• His plan fell apart

    The moment the door closed, you immediately tried to wipe away your angry tears. Gaara had come home early and you hadn't planned on letting him see you like this. You knew there was definitely a chance he had heard your loud sobs, but you still laid down pretending to be sleep anyways.
   
     "Y/N), I know you aren't sleeping. What's the matter?" You felt a few tears slip down your cheeks, but you weren't ready to talk about it yet. You heard his quiet sigh as he sat down on the edge of the bed.
      "You don't have to tell me, but at least look at me, (Y/N/N)." You sniffled, turning to look at him. Seafoam eyes met (e/c) ones and his frown deepened.
    He was quiet as he scooted over to you. "I've never done this before, so I hope you don't mind." He gently pushed your head against his chest pulled you down with him so you were tucked away in his chest.

    Your tears stopped for a moment in shock. This was the first time you two had ever done this and you were all but melting. You clutched the front of his shirt in your fist, pulling yourself closer to him.
       "You don't have to tell me what's wrong, but just know that I'm here for you no matter what."
    The tears started again, but this time you were happy. You had an amazing boyfriend who loved you so much and at this moment, that was all you could ask for. "Thank you, Gaara..." His thumb wiped away the remaining wetness on his face, causing you to blush.
    "You know... I, uh, planned this all out..." You gave him a confused look. "...Cuddling?" His cheeks reddened. "Yes... but I realized that it should be natural."
    You grinned. "Yeah, you're right... This is perfect." The tips of his fiery red hair tickled your cheek as he pecked your lips. "We should do this more often."
