You twiddled your thumbs nervously as you entered your new home; Konohagakure. You had no idea what to expect, but you ready for a brand new start. You had just moved from Kirigakure, armed with the training of a Chuunin and a pass from the Hokage. You couldn't help but look around, nothing short of amazed by the bustling village. There were shops at every corner, children, and shinobi alike running and talking throughout the streets... it was a welcome change from your old life.
You walked down the main street in a daze, absolutely overwhelmed by all there was to see. Were you really going to be living here? You were practically shivering with excitement as you looked around for the Hokage building.
You were so wrapped up in your own thoughts, the sound of a rushing cart didn't reach your ears. It wasn't until a loud voice rang out interrupting your train of thought did you realize the danger you were in.
Before you could even react, a blur of white shot passed you, an arm curling around your waist and lifting you up. Much to your confusion, you were placed on top of something that was moving quicker than you could process.
You watched eyes wide as the large wooden cart sped past the very place you were standing moments ago. As you came to your senses, you realized that you had stopped moving and was only swaying with dizziness.
"That was close! Are you alright?" You blinked, your vision going back into focus. You were stunned to realize that you were sitting on a large white dog. You looked back at the boy behind you, trying to gather your thoughts. The whole experience had shaken you up pretty badly.
"Y-Yeah, thank you for saving me..." You couldn't help but notice how cute this stranger was. He was tall with brunette hair and unique red fang markings on his cheeks, that he managed to pull off excellently.
"I'm Kiba, and this is Akamaru! I've never seen you before, now that I think of it..." You smiled as he carefully helped you off the canine. You gently rubbed behind his ears, grinning at the lopsided grin he wore.
"I'm (Y/N)! I actually just moved here and I was on my way to the Hokage building, but I got a little distracted, heh..." You replied, laughing sheepishly. Kiba snickered, gesturing for you to follow him.
"How about I take you there? Wouldn't want you getting hit by something after we did all that work to save you," He teased, Akamaru barking in agreement. You laughed, following them.
"Thank you, my knight in shining armor," You snickered. Unbeknownst to you, your statement left the brunette with pink-tinted cheeks.
The two of you joked and bantered back and forth all the way to the Hokage building as if you'd known each other for years. The chemistry and attraction between you two were undeniable to you both.
"Thank you, Kiba, for saving me and walking me here, I had a lot of fun." You felt your face heat up a bit, but you didn't look away from his intense stare.
"I did too, (Y/N)... maybe we can meet up for lunch or something? I know we just met and all but I really like talking to you-" You cut off his adorable rambling with a soft kiss to his cheek. You couldn't help but giggle a little as his jaw dropped.
"I'd love to, Kiba." He sighed in relief. "Great. Should I walk you up the stairs, just in case?"
"KIBA!"
