Akiras POV
12:35pm

"Make sure you fill out that application too" I told raine as we just got home from red lobster.

They were hiring and they pay good so I said why not get her this job.

When I reached into my room and my phone started ringing and it said Mommyy ❤️🥳 across the screen.

"Hello?" I said.

"Yea honey? I have some bad news and I need you to tell raine and Arie about this too" she spoke.

"Umm okay? What happened" I asked.

"Unfortunately, your grandpa passed away this morning from some complications with some lung disease, so I just wanted to let you know while your grandmother and I plan the funeral and everything" she said.

My heart dropped to my ass and I immediately felt so fucking bad.

"Oh... okay thanks for telling me that mom" I said.

"Your welcome honey, I'll be checking in on you all tomorrow okay? Momma gotta go run some errands" she said.

"Okay bye" I said.

She said bye and then hung up.

I started to tear up because i haven't gotten the chance to talk to my pops ever since I left from college cause I just been busy and before I did leave me and him were close even ever since I was a baby and it just kinda hurts that I couldn't get to talk to him once.

I started crying and then the door opened behind me. "I filled out the-.... what's wrong?" Raine came in here asking me.

I wiped my tears quickly. "N-nothing leave" I responded.

"There's obviously something wrong cause you cry-"

"GET OUT" I yelled and she did as told.

The last thing I wanted was to talk to her and hear her voice at all.

I hated death in my family, it made me feel empty and left a hole in my heart.

I sat there in the quiet room and all you heard was my sobs and me sniffing. Lordy.

Arie POV

"Hey juju" I smiled as I got in his car.

Akira dropped me off at the mall so I could get some things but she had to leave so I called Judas to come pick me up.

"Hey RiRi" he laughed.

I shut the door and he pulled off. "Where you trynna go?" He asked as I put my bag in the back.

"Uhmm, can we go to chick fila? I'm kind of craving that right now" I said looking down at my stomach.

"Ight" he said then he drove to the chick fila that was next to the mall and he went in the drive thru.

"What you want?" He asked biting his lip then looked at me.

"A chicken sandwich with extra mayo and pickles, 8 count chicken nuggets, two large fries, cookies and cream milk shake, chick fila sauce and a ice tea" I told him.

"Damn girl, you not even 5 months yet" he joked.

"I know but there's two babies inside of me remember?" I asked chuckling.

"Ight Ri, I'm taking some of Yo fried though" he said.

"Okay" he replied.

I watched as he drove up in the line and he had one hand on the staring wheel and was bobbing his head to the music that was lowly playing in the radio, he licked his lips while looking ahead.
