FENRIS

Persistent knocking on the door, wakes me up from my sleep. Groaning I open my eyes and turn to see Sierra sitting up in the bed, frowning at the door. She still appears drowsy and doesn't acknowledge my whispered call so I take a few silky strands of her bed-hair and give them a tug, effectively catching her attention.

She turns to look at me and blushes, probably at my semi-nude form and it takes all my will power from dragging her back into my arms and ignoring Calum's call. But instead all I manage to say or rather rumble is, "Don't panic, baby. That's Calum my other cousin. I'll see to what he wants, you can go back to sleep. I know you are tired."

She nods and nibbles on her bottom lip, thinking hard. She turns to look at the door when Calum knocks again with a little more force. I roll my eyes.

"Wait a minute, will you?"

"Elder Raoul is here. Get out of your bed," mutters Calum from the other side of the door and then I hear his retreating footsteps.

"Oh, no, Fenris. Elder Raoul's going to be pissed at me," cries Sierra trying to get out of the bed and then winces. Immediately I sit up and pull her in my lap. She clutches my shoulders and then her face reddens a bit.

"What is it? Is it the heat?" I question not understanding the source of her pain.

"Um.. It's nothing. No, it's not the heat," she replies softly licking her lips and squirming a bit but averts her eyes when I lift her chin to look into them. Out of nowhere, I remember how I swelled inside her when I climaxed inside her last night.

"Are you sore, baby?" At this question the colour in her cheeks deepens and she ducks down, probably sees the bulge in my pants and then makes a frustrated noise in the back of her throat, moving out of my arms. Laughing at her reaction, I pull her back in my lap so that she's astride me. She buries her head in my chest, her hair covering the sides of her face hiding my view. My mark tingles as her hair brush over it delicately.

"I am sorry. I am not laughing at you. Please look at me. There's nothing to be embarrassed of," I whisper, caressing over her hair trying to soothe her.

"Yes, you were laughing at me and yes, I am sore but it looks like you are pleased," she mumbles and once again I refrain from laughing at her pouty face.

"Yes, I am pleased baby but not because you are in pain. I am pleased to find that you are satisfied and I am solely responsible for it," I reply kissing in her hair. She looks up at me, her face scrunched into a frown and then flushes, understanding my sentences as she pushes me hard. I pull her back in my embrace, the feel of her is not something I might ever be able to resist. She rests her head on my chest, sighing but relaxed.

"What do you think the elders are here for?" she asks after sometime rubbing at my jaw where she not so long ago punched me. I twirl her hair and run my fingers along the length of her neck relishing how easy and comfortable it feels to have her in my lap, just talking.

"I called him a few hours ago after you slept, to tell him about Xanthos and the witch. He has come to lecture me and elder Fridolf has come to check you. The artificial heat might have some side-effects and I don't want to risk your health," I tell her, trying to keep it all simple and to avoid confusing her anymore.

"Who was the woman in the room yesterday, when I woke up in heat?" she asks. I cringe inwardly. It will take a lot of time to explain things to her.

"That's Nora. She's my maternal aunt. Alcina is her daughter," I reply running a hand through my hair and pulling at it.

"You will be bald if you keep doing it," she whispers pulling away my hand and squeezing it. I chuckle at her reprimand since, it is the same thing I thought a few hours ago.
