Chapter 25: The Bitch

SIERRA

I knock on the door. I hear some shuffling and then the door opens to reveal Tatiana and Alexandria in the room.

I stand still and look at my friend, confused about the entire scene. As if reading my mind, Tatiana speaks first.

"Hey Sierra. Alexandria here came to ask about yours and Fenris's relationship. She also came to ask me if you are responsible for Fenris's disappearance," says Tatiana.

I hear the ring of truth in Tatiana's words and feel the rage consume me for this meddling bitch. Alexandria seems to have a radar to know about my emotions. It was one thing to try to bully me but she has crossed her limits by questioning about my mate.

A low growl escapes my mouth and I glare at Alexandria who stands unaffected with a smirking face. With wolf speed I reach her and grip her throat in my fist to wipe that smirk off her face. The smirk is now replaced with fear and it is my turn to smirk at her.

"How dare you come here and delve in my personal matters?" I all but snarl in her face. She visibly tenses and starts shaking in my hold. I release her abruptly which causes her to lose her footing and land on her ass. Tatiana chuckles behind me at Alexandria's humiliation.

"Answer me," I command the bitch to speak.

"I... I.. wanted to know about the reason why Fenris left. Some of the trainees claim that Fenris became quite agitated after your ruse of kidnapping and that might be the reason why he left," she says and I feel like punching her for calling my kidnapping a ruse.

"Why would Fenris be affected by me and the kidnapping?" I ask trying to keep calm.

"Some people claim that he is your mate and you rejected him because you love Aztec," she says and it feels like she has punched me hard in the gut.

Sensing my emotions, Tatiana moves towards Alexandria and slaps her hard on the cheek.

"I sense your lie, bitch," says Tatiana and holds Alexandria's jaw in a punishing grip.

"I had my doubts of Fenris being her mate and I came here to confirm," she confesses.

Her confession rings true in my ears and once again I am shown how terrible I have been towards my mate. Ignoring my presence, Tatiana handles Alexandria.

"Well, your doubts are shitty. Fenris left because he had some personal matters to look into. You can count on my words, as I am his best friend's sister. Shut your crappy mouth about spreading such rumours," Tatiana snarls in her face. Alexandria flinches and nods.

Satisfied with the bitch's submission, Tatiana pulls her up in a standing position. Alexandria whimpers and bows her head quickly leaving the room.

I sag on my bed, feeling foolish and exhausted.

"Thanks for the support," I mutter looking at Tatiana whose expression mirrors mine.

"Anytime," says Tatiana waving off my gratitude and goes off with picking up the table which fell when I pushed Alexandria.

"I am exhausted as hell and that bitch was waiting at the door to welcome me and harass me with her questions," she mutters. I just nod my head for her to continue.

"I wonder how she came to such an accurate conclusion," she says and I wince making her wince.

"I think we should sleep on it and discuss about this tomorrow," she says and I just nod and lie down. I close my eyes and fall into a restless sleep.
