"Duri."
Napalingon ako sa taong tumawag sa akin. Captain Collins.
Napangiti naman ako sa kanya ng tipid.
"Guten morgan Captain."
Napangiti naman ito sabay timpla rin ng kape.
It's already Wednesday at mamayang hapon na ang flight nila Selene.
"I have heard a lot of you from Ki."
Napakunot noo naman ako.
"What did he say?"
"You lived here in Germany before."
Napahawak naman ako sa dulo ng table. Aish! That Ki! Ano ba ang gusto niyang mangyari?
Napahinga naman ako ng malalim.
"I am a Filipino, but my foster parents are Germans."
Napatango naman siya.
"Where are they now?"
"Duri. We will call you Dean as your German name."
"But Charlie– he already called me Delta."
"He can call you whatever names he wanted to. But think of it Duri, in order for you to have a new life, it must be started in your name."
"They're dead."
Napatango naman siya.
"I'm sorry for asking you."
"It's okay."
Napalingon naman ako sa isang Doctor na papunta sa gate. In my peripheral view, nakangiti si Captain.
"Do you know who is that Doctor?" tanong ko.
Nginitian naman niya ako.
"I like her, but she keeps ignoring me."
Napangiti naman ako.
"Keep on pursuing her Captain."
"Of course I do. How about you? Abby likes you, right?"
Nanlaki naman ang aking mata. Paano niya nalaman?
"You are curious why I knew Abby likes you, right?"
Napaiwas naman ako ng tingin, pero tinawanan niya lang.
"Young people. You are so rush in love. Abby likes you very much, but you like someone else. But Abby, she likes you dangerously."
Napataas naman ang aking kilay.
"What do you mean dangerously?"
"You will not notice it since you have no feelings for her, but Duri, Abby was kind of aggressive and possessive girl."
The heck?!
"She was really a possessive one. And I really don't like her for being like that."
Bigla naman siyang napatawa.
"I'm just joking. Abby is good, and I know she has a good intentions for you. Keep on noticing her Duri, I know you are struggling inside."
