Chapter 44: Rip-roaring

Life is too short, but memories can live longer than life. I have never dreamed of becoming a member of secret organization who helps many people. Private Operative Descendants or P. O. D, that is what we called to ourselves.

And Secret Intelligence Unit or SIU, Charlie's supposed to be group if he did not join The Vipers who killed our family, his family.

If I only could get back the past, I will change everything. I will save Charlie and Marcus from joining The Vipers. But Marcus was already dead. I know it was not a usual ending to us, like we were true siblings, but Marcus, he was part of my not so good memories. He was my best buddy aside from Min. He was the one who always helped me everytime I need some help.

He was there when I left Knights before. He was there when many people wanted to destroy my life. He was my best of friends. But he choose to leave us, to leave me. He choose to join his dark side and left everything behind including his good memories.

Marcus never dreamed about having a millions of money or having a good building to live for. He was not like that. He was very humble and kind. But everything had changed when his brother died.

I thought he would listen to me, to Charlie, but he doesn't. He forgotten everything we've been through the years of being a brothers and partners in helping people.

And Charlie, he was still the old Charlie that I've known. He betrayed, but he still choose to live for the better. I trusted him so much, and I was very happy that he started to build it. Everything had changed now, but our friendship, our brotherhood that we've shared, never dies. Never changed.

"Duri."

Hinawakan ko naman sa balikat si Charlie.

"You will leave now? Akala ko ba gusto mong makita ang tunay kong Ama?"

Ngumiti naman siya.

"Always am, but I promised to Iris that I will accompany her in Russia."

Napatango naman ako.

"You will come back, right? And that would be your new life?"

Mas lumapad naman ang kanyang ngiti.

"I had never changed brother. But I promise to you that I will come back here."

I hugged him.

"Tell Iris to take care of you." usad ko sabay kalas ng yakap sa kanya.

Napatawa naman siya.

"I should be the one to say that to Abby. Where is she by the way?"

Nawala naman ang ngiti sa aking labi.

"She was still searching for Simon through Solomon."

Nanlaki naman ang kanyang mata.

"You have a gut that Ki is Faddiyfi, right?"

Napatango naman ako.

"It's not him Duri."

Napakunot noo naman ako sa sinabi niya.

"What do you mean? May alam ka ba na hindi ko alam?"

"I hacked all his accounts before you had a gut to him."

"What? Ang ibig mo bang sabihin ay nanghinala ka rin sa kanya noon?"
