ASTRA RAISED AN EYEBROW AT THE VAMPIRES WORDS. Her brother was here to see her? She stood up and walked to the door, ignoring the way Caius and Aro followed. "Take me to him please." she said.
As they walked down the hall, Astra couldn't help but roll her eyes. She could hear Hector yelling at people. "You guys better give me my sister or I'll kill all of you!!! Now where is she you stupid, pale freak!" She stifled a laugh at his words, she could vaguely make out the sound of someone sighing as they grew closer.
"I'm not playing. Do you have any idea who I am? I could have you dead before you could even blink!"
"Please, shut up." she heard someone beg. As they finally arrived to the front room, Astra couldn't help but be amused at her brothers disheveled state. His hair was wild, and his clothes were torn in multiple spots.
"Did you get into a fight with a bear?" she asked as she studied him. Her eyes narrowed into the blood splatters that were on his face, "Okay, who's dead?"
"You will be if you don't get over here." Hector angrily remarked as he narrowed his eyes at her and put his hands on his hips. He reminded Astra of a fourteen year old girl who was upset because they didn't get her way.
Marcus let out a small, barely noticeable growl at her brothers words. He stepped in front of her and narrowed his eyes at him, "She's not going anywhere near you."
Astra's eyebrows raised in surprise, she would've expected something like this from Aro and Caius, but Marcus? Then she remembered that she doesn't really know any of them. She put her hand on Marcus' back and stood on her tippy toes to reach his ears, "It's okay Marcus, he's my brother, he's not going to hurt me."
Marcus tensed underneath of her hand and reluctantly moved out of the way. "If you make one wrong move, your head will be detached from your body."
Hector rolled his eyes at the vampire, "As if you could actually do that."
Astra walked over to her brother and instantly was enveloped in a hug. "I was so worried about you." Hector whispered to her.
Astra returned the hug eagerly, "I was only gone for a day." she replied, a small laugh escaped her lips.
"That's too long." Hector stated. He pulled out of the hug and grabbed her shoulders, "Scarlett said you were here with some crazy freaks, why didn't you leave? You know I can protect you."
"Actually," she began, "I did leave. I went to the motel to see you guys and the only person there was Conner." Anger flared inside of her, "Did you happen to see him yet?" she asked, anger seeping through her voice.
Hector looked at her in confusion, "No. I came straight here after Scarlett told me what had happened."
Astra raised an eyebrow at him, "Okay, if that's not Conner's blood, then why are you covered in it?"
"Why would I have Conner's blood on me."
"You're trying to change the subject."
"Did he do something to you??? That little bi-"
"Enough!" the vampire that had been alone in the room with Hector earlier spoke up. Astra turned to face him. He had black hair, dark skin, and of course, red eyes. "You two act like children."
"Thank you, Santiago." Aro said as he walked closer to the pair of siblings. "I was thinking I was going to have to separate the two and put them in time out." His eyes were filled with amusement when he met Astra's eyes. "Of course, I might've enjoyed that too much."
