"How has therapy been ?" Stacy asked.

We were currently having lunch at a little cafe. Ever since we bumped into each other in Walmart we've keep in contact with each other.

I dipped my chip in some salsa before responding," I haven't been there in months."

"Why what happened?"

"Girl I feel like the whole time she was on David's side and didn't hear me out at all."

"Y'all has the same therapist?" She asked.

I nodded and rolled my eyes, "yeah that was the first mistake."

"Mmh and she's a female too, sis I don't know about that one."

"I mean it's whatever, I don't really care"

"Are you going to go back to therapy eventually?"

"I was thinking about it, but I don't really think I need to. I'm a better person than I was before."

"That's good I'm happy for you sis."

We ordered some drinks and talked more about what was going on in our lives.

"How are things going with your boo thing?" I asked her.

"Its going really good, his divorce is almost finalized." She smiled.

"Okay , then you can have him all to yourself. I know you're happy about that."

"I mean he's already all mine if I got him right?"

"Yeah that's true." I nodded.

"We gotta go out or something tonight,I need to get out the house. She whined.

"I have to get my daughter tonight." I frowned.

"You can't come out just this one night?"

"I mean I can, if I wanted to. Let me text her father and see."

David and I have not spoke much unless it's about Michelle. Ever since he found out I wasn't going to therapy anymore he hasn't talked to me. He mostly communicated with me through text and that was fine with me.

Janey: can you watch Michelle tonight, I have something to do?

Not even a minute later my phone started ringing.

"Oh shit you made him mad." Stacy laughed.

"Girl shut the hell up." I waved her off playfully.

"What's going on?" He asked as soon as I answered.

"I need you to keep her for an extra night." I said.
