"So i've been thinking" i say

"oh no" Finn says playing with my hair

"i wanna get my ears pierced" i say sitting up and he pulls me back down so i'm lying on top of him and i chuckle

"you already have them done" he says

"yeah but i want my helix done" i say

"which ones that?" he asks

"it goes on the upper part of your ear" i tell him showing him where it would go on my ear

"yeah i'll like that" he says and i laugh

"you'll like that?" i repeat

"Rapunzel you don't have to repeat everything i say you know" he says and i roll my eyes but can't help the smile appear on my face

"Do you remember when we went to park when we were younger?" he asks

"the old or new one or the new new one?" i ask

"new new"

"oh yeah and Ryder got stuck in the monkey bars cause he tried to get down them sideways" i say

"yeah and they had to get the fire brigade to get him down" he says and we both laugh

"his legs... we're stuck dangling in the wind" i say between laughs

"i can hear you talking about me!" We hear Ryder shout from outside the door

"Ryder if you want to hang out with us all you have to do is ask" i say and he barges into my room and jumps onto my bed and i go flying off in the other direction.

I let out a scream which sounds like some sort of thing getting possessed as i land on the floor.

"Ryder! You dickhead!" Finn shouts coming to me on the floor and i groan

I'm not actually in pain.

Finn knows that but it's fun to mess with Ryder.

"oh my god! i can't do anything right!" Ryder wails before running over to me

"I'm so sorry" he says

"why is it so bright in here?" i ask weakly and Ryder lets out a cry and i see Finn in the corner of my eye smirk.

"I've killed my best friend" he says and i can't help but let out a laugh and he down at me

"i hate you" he says getting up

"Ryde-"

"NOPE! i'm sick of this" he says walking towards the door and i clamber to my feet and walk after him

"Ryder come on it was a joke"

"no! i'm going to go paint my feelings" he says

"okay, send me a picture of it" i say

"will do" he says opening the door

"Ryder?" i ask and he turns to face me

"i love you" i say and he sighs before looking at me

"i love you too" he says quickly before slamming the door shut and i laugh

"Your brother is mental" i tell Finn

"i know" he says and i lie down on the bed.

"When singing side by side there's so much left unspoken just for a moment" i sing lightly
