Fourty Five

So I'm in this house alone.

My time.

Some quiet without Ryder barging into my room or shouting or arguing.

I would work on my dancing but doctors orders, I know it's shocking that I've actually been doing what I'm told.

I'm surprising myself if I'm being honest with you.

But if it means I'll be able to do some sort of dance or something in theatre it's going to be worth it.

Dancing in gym made me realise how much I missed it, I missed it a lot more than I thought I did. It's the hardest thing to try not to do, I didn't mean to go full out in gym but veronica was annoying me and she got me wound up over nothing.

I knew I shouldn't have been dancing so much or doing such complex moved but I couldn't help myself. I just got lost in the music and my body just took over with the movements.

So since I can't dance and I can't be bothered learning the monologue I'm just going to work on some music.

I love to write music, it's another way that I can express how I'm feeling.

"Help, help I'm stuck here
I'm just stuck underneath the city lights" I sing gently whilst playing the piano

I stop playing the piano and sight writing lyrics in my notepad.

"I'm so good" I mumble

"Yes you are" a voice says and I scream turning around to see Finn laughing.

"What are you doing here?" I ask him

"I didn't want to leave you on your own" he says

"Why?" I ask him

"Because we're in a house in somewhere where we don't know what if someone breaks in" he says and I roll my eyes

"Thanks for the concern but I can take care of myself, I know karate" I say

"You do?" He asks

"You run out of things to do in a shospital room, anyway. There is a concept called Unagi" I say

"Unagi" he repeats

"Unagi. A state of total awareness. Only by achieving true Unagi, you can be prepared you for any danger that may befall you" i say and he smiles at me amused

"Now your just reciting the friends script" he says with a laugh 

"Fine but don't come crying to me when you've been attacked" I tell him and he laughs again

"Okay princess, I won't" he says sitting next to me

I smile at him before placing the notebook on the top of the piano.

"I'm running out of space in this you know, half of these songs are shit anyway" I say with a sigh

"I don't know about that, that one just did was pretty good" he says

I smile at him, "thank you, most of it it's just pages of half written songs"

"Maybe you should try and link some together" he says

"Not a bad idea" I say whilst we make our way over to the sofa.

"Do you want a drink?" He asks me

"No I'm okay" i tell him and he nods before disappearing.

He comes back a minute later holding two glasses of water and a packet of crisps Ryder brought with him.

Ryder has a collection of British crisps because apparently they don't taste the same and they aren't and never will be as good.

"I know you said you didn't want one but you might get thirsty after" he says handing me a crisp packet.

"I don't deserve you" I say

"I think it's the other way round Rapunzel" he says

"I dunno Flynn, like I've said before your quite the charmer" I say and he chuckles

"Ooo, salt and vinegar" I say, "good choice"

"Thank you, I know it's your favourite so i got that one" he says and i smile at him.

"We just can't tell Ryder because he'll freak" I say and we both chuckle

"So how far did you get on the run?" I ask him changing the subject

"Around a mile into it, I decided to come back" he tells me and i nod

"How far did Jordan get before walking?" I ask and he laughs

"Ten minutes in" He says and i laugh

"Sounds like he has a bad hangover, he can usually last at least five minutes more" I say and he chuckles

"So did three section have anything interesting to say?" I ask him

"A bit" he says trailing off, "we actually talked about their section and what it's like and the people in it"

"That's nice, I love all of them. Such lovely people" I say smiling

"So speaking of the people who are in it" he begins and I look at him

"Can I ask you a question?" He asks me

"Yeah sure" i say with a shrug

"Who's Lucas?" He asks me and I feel my heart drop.
