Part 8

"Are you kidding me!" I jump up. "You know each other?" Morgan asked looking confused. "Yeah. I was supposed to go on a date with him tonight." I replied. "Really?" Morgan tilted his head in confusion. "Yeah it's a long story." I answered, we sat in silence for a couple seconds before it was broken. "Are you okay?" Colby asks Morgan. "I'm fine. Bean over here is making a big deal out of nothing." I look over to my brother and roll my eyes, "says the one in 3 casts and has stitches in his chest." "Exactly if I'm not freaking out neither should you." He chuckled at me. "You know I can't do that." I frown, and a tear escapes my eye. "You and Kat are all I have now." He opens his arms to me, and I snuggled into them. "It's gonna take a lot more than a car crash to get rid of me." He smiled while stroking my hair as I cry into his shoulder. I hear Colby say, "I'm so sorry."I let go of Morgan and look at Colby who is looking at the ground. I walk over to him and guide him to a seat in the room. "It's okay." I sit down next to him when I noticed that Colby had a bandaged gash on his head and a black eye. "I guess we should reschedule the date" he looked at me smiling, I laughed a little, "yeah.  You look worse than usual" I said pointing to his face. Colby holds his heart pretending to be hurt and gasps. We all laugh, "Did I hear him call you Bean before?" Before I could answer I get a call, it's from Sam. "Hello?" "Hey, Bella. I saw your text and I would have to agree, Kat's brother got into a car accident and she is driving over now." "Oh. Okay I'll see her soon then." I could hear him moving in his seat and the confusion in his voice as he said, "wait. What?" made me laugh "I'm Kat's sister, and Morgan is my brother." "Oh. Hmmm okay. I need to find Colby his not answering my calls or texts." "His phone is broken. I think you should come with Kat to the hospital." I smiled a little hearing Sams panic as he yells for Kat. "I'll see you soon." I hang up the phone and look at Morgan, "Kat is on her way." I said looking to Morgan, "so is Sam." Add turning my head to Colby. Morgan smiles, "y'all are talking again?" I nod and smile a little.
