"Bella! Blake came looking for you." She yelled through the phone I quickly moved the phone from my ear in response to how loud she was. "Okay and?" "He seemed pissed." She added, "I guess you stood him up?" "What? We had nothin planned." "I don't know girl. If I were you I would figure this out ASAP." I rolled my eyes, "I'll be home soon." I hung up the phone and was about to walk through the door when I heard them talking. "Makes sense. She would never go for a guy like you. Your just not her type." Morgan kinda laughed, "No you're right. My type is toxic." "What makes you think I'm not?" Colby asked crossing his arms almost as if he was offended. "You are friends with Kat." I responded confused. "What happened with Hailey?" Morgan asked and I turned my attention to him. "Something about Blake. He's in one of his moods again." I sat crossing my arms and rolling my eyes. "You should go deal with that before it gets out of hand again." "Blake as in camera guy/ex? Again?" Sam asked. "Yeah. He gets in these moods when he drinks and he thinks we are still dating. So he gets upset when I don't talk to him." I stood up this time grabbing my bag. "Do any of you need a ride home?" "Colby does." Sam said patting his friends shoulder. "Ummm. If you don't mind." He coyly responded. "Not at all. I offered!" I grabbed his hand and pulled him out of his seat. "Bye Morgan love you." I walked next to his bed and kissed his forehead. "Bye Niki. See you soon." I gave her a hug then turned to Sam and Kat. "Bye guys. I have a feeling we will be hanging out often." I was about to turn away when I hear Sam speak up, "No hugs for us?" "Oh sure. Wasn't sure if you wanted one." I looked to the ground then up to them. "Of course we want one!" Kat jumped up. I hugged them and left the room with Colby following behind me. We get to my truck, "This is your's?" He stopped 10 feet away from it. "Yeah why?" It is an old lifted up square body Chevy with its original orange paint. "I don't know, I expected you to drive a car." "A lot of people do, but I grew up working on farms, and living on one until I was 16. My boss bought me this baby when I turned 16, as a going away gift." I said jumping in, Colby slowly got in. "And a way to remember my friends." He looks at me with sad eyes. "Where did you go?"
