Part 50

I walked downstairs and saw everyone but Colby in the living room. "Good morning! I have some news. We are leaving tomorrow at noon so y'all need to get your laundry done. We will be in Texas at around 9 or 10 tomorrow night. I'm feeling much better today, thank you for your concern but I'm fine." I said to everyone. "Did you know about her and Colby?" I heard Noah ask Sam. I laughed uncomfortably. "Noah shut it." I said through my teeth. "Nuh uh! What happened?" Corey sassed. "Nothing." Colby said from behind me. "I don't believe it!" Sam said. "Look at him!" Sam pointed at him. "He has a permanent smiled on." Corey added. "They were kissing when I walked into her room." Noah said confused. "Oh wait..." he said realizing no one knew. "Oops." He added. "Yeah. Opps. You better start running." I laughed a little. "Do not!" John butted in. "Fine." I pouted. Everyone was laughing. "Now set up the laundry schedule." I said walking away and into the kitchen. The girls followed. "Can I help you?" I asked laughing. "What happened?" I told them what happened at the all squealed. "Shhhh" I laughed.

Everyone was packed and we were all ready to leave. "I'm so excited!" Devyn exclaimed and I laughed. Colby was in passenger, Devyn, Kat and Sam were in the back. Mike, Kevin, Aryia, Reggie, and Cassie were in Kevin's car. Jake, Tara, Griffin and Xepher where in Tara's car. Will, Noah, John and Corey were in my Jeep. I made them all listen to country music on the way up me and Kat were singing along and Sam and Colby were recording it. When they got done Sam, Kat, and Devyn fell asleep. Colby put his hand on my thigh and we continued to listen to music and joke around.
At around 6 we went to a little diner to eat dinner Colby and I sat next to each other.
"When are mattresses not on sale?" I asked laughing a bit. Colby squeezed my thigh a little and I squealed a little not expected it. "Sorry. I didn't mean to kick you." Colby covered. The group laughed a little and kept asking odd questions like, "if a person told you that they were a pathological liar would you believe them?" Type questions. It was a lot of fun. I can't believe I've only known them for about a month now.
