"My dad passed away when I was 15 after 10 years of being sick. For a year Morgan and I lived by ourselves until CPS was called and I had to go live with my mom in Canada and Morgan had to live with his mom." I looked at the moon chain hanging from my mirror. "People constantly associate passed on people with animals but my dad was like the moon. Even though you might not always see it, it's always there. That's why if you even get to know me I have an unusual obsession with moons." I look at him, and he's staring at me. We slowly lean into each other, we kiss but I quickly break it. "I should get you home." I look to my steering wheel. "Uh. Yeah. Okay." He seemed shocked. After about an hour drive I hear my phone blowing up. "Do you mind reading the messages?" I quickly look at Colby and grab my phone to hand it to him. "Sure. You have 20 messages from Hailey. They are all telling you to hurry and that Blake is losing it." "Do you mind calling her?" I kept my focus on the road. "Yeah, okay." He hit the call button and it rang a couple times before she answered. "BELLA. He's trying to break in!!" "Calm down. Does he have his phone on him?" "Yeah I think so." She answered back frantically "okay. I'm going to call him. Lock yourself in your room." "Okay. I love you." "I love you too. Now hurry." Colby hung up and then I gave him Blakes digits. "Baby!? Where are you?" He answered the phone right away. "Hey baby. Sorry, Morgan got into a car accident and I had been so worried about him that I didn't call." I said softly trying to avoid him getting angry. "You called work though!" He yelled a little. "I didn't. Hailey must have done that for me." I lied to calm him. "Oh. Okay. I'm at your house. Hailey must not be home, because I've been knocking for about 2 hours." "I should be home in about 2 hours. I left the hospital an hour ago." I explained. "Oh okay. I'll wait here. Don't be late." "Okay baby. But traffic could be backed up. Give me about 3 hours." I replied pleading with him. "Okay. I'll be here." "Bye-bye. I love you." I choked on the word love. "Love you too. Bye!" And with that I hung up. "Ugh. Sometimes I hate him."
