"I'm sorry." Colby seemed to be really unnerved by what was going on. "It is not your fault. I chose to date him." "You still shouldn't have to deal with this, no one should." He put his hand on my leg and rubbed it then took it away. I smiled at how shy he was acting after realizing he was being bold. "It will be okay, it will be." I said trying to convince myself as well as him. "If you don't mind I'm going to have to go to my house first and deal with him." "Not at all." I could detect him smiling out of the corner of my eye. After about an hour of listening to music, Colby turns it down. "I kind of see why people like country music now." I look at him confused, "You don't like country? You should have said something. I would've changed it." I said scrolling through stations to find classic rock. "Oh no. It's fine. But I do like this better." He laughed at me frantically trying to get the station. "It's not funny. Why didn't you speak up?" He was laughing harder, "You were in a zone. I didn't what to interrupt it." "We are practically at my house. Next time you don't like something speak up." I said softly punching his shoulder. "Okay. Okay!" He said slowly stopping his laughter. We are in the car for another half hour before I reach my home. "BABY!" Blake screamed running to my truck, "Your home! How is- who's that?" He stopped in his tracks and indicated to Colby. "I'm giving him a ride home, he was at the hospital as well," I said calmly getting out of the truck and unhurriedly walking over to him. "Bullshit!" He screamed in my face and pushed me against the door. I yelped in pain, "Baby. Calm down, please." I cried out holding his hand that is now against my throat. "Why are you such a little slut?!?" "Baby. Listen to me, he lives down the road and I was being nice." I choked out the words. "Baby you are hurting me. Please stop." I pleaded with him. "You hurt me! Stop lying to me!" He screamed at me. "Yo man let her go!" I hear Colby scream. "Colby, stay out of this please," I said keeping my eyes locked with Blake as he tightened his grip on my throat. "Baby, listen to me. I can't be any use to you dead, and if you keep doing this I will be soon." I tried to keep calm as I was starting to lose consciousness. I felt a jolt, and fell down to the ground, "look man you don't know who you are messing with!"
