"My best dreams and my worst nightmares have the same people in them."- Philippos
Sunday morning: Sang's POV
Her feet were moving, the sound of each step echoed in her ear. For once her normally quiet movements were loud.
Making as much noise as possible.
Yelling, crying, screaming for the redhead in front of her to see her. To hear her.
Yet she stayed firmly in place, almost as if she was running in place. Her feet moved but she was still as a statue.
She wanted to cry, but it was like she was trapped in a bubble.
"James stop!" She had to stand there fighting to move watching as her beautiful friend cried her heart out unable to hear her. James was looking in a mirror, her eyes unfocused filled with tears. The bathroom sink was cluttered a plugged in straighter, a loose toothbrush, a hairbrush sitting on the corner of the sink, a yellow cup.
She gasped as she saw the other girl pick up a single razor.
She wanted to reach out to the girl to help her, hold her, and yet she couldn't move.
Chains came from the walls moving like snakes across the floor, Sang tried to move away from them. It felt like they were preparing to attack. Like soldiers in battle. She flinched as they clamped around her wrists, the cold metal stinging as it tightened further.
She winced tugging her arms.
"Scarlet please stop! I'm here for you! Let me help you!"
The chains tightened, it felt like someone was constricting her heart she let out a startled gasp.
James knocked a cup over spilling it onto the outlet, Sang watched as it lit up a bright light sparking.
"No," her stomach turned "JAMES!" she tugged harder on the chains watching as the fire spread. James was still except for the swift movements of her hand swiping at her wrist.
Suddenly the room was engulfed in flames Sang flinched feeling the heat against her face.
She watched a silent cry falling from her lips as the fire suddenly surrounded James and the girl disappeared in the smoke.
"Sang baby!" Sang jumped sitting up her eyes wide and her chest heavy. The movement of her chest going up and down in a fast rhythm. "Thank god."
She twisted her body looking into a pair of dark worried eyes. "North?" she questioned feeling light-headed her mind was still swimming stuck within her dream.
She pressed a hand against her face she felt hot, she could almost picture the fire before her. James face looking back at her through the mirror.
Was James okay? Had she hurt herself again? She couldn't help but be worried about the other girl after the events of last night...she just wanted to be near the other girl.
Her hands moved to reach for her wrist's, she couldn't help but stare at them with wide eyes. The chains were no longer there but she could still feel the weight of them against her arms.
"God Sang," She was suddenly pulled into his lap his large arms curling around her small frame. Sang blushed brightly and hesitantly snuggled into him. "Your shaking like a leaf,"
She didn't even realize it until he said it, her teeth were clattering together sharply too. "D-did I wake you?" She whispered her voice low, "I thought I was with Kota?"
