"You we're unsure which pain is worse- the shock of what happened. Or the ache for what never will."

                                   Sunday

                             James's P.O.V.

James's eyes fluttered open her head was pounding and there was hair on her face. She pushed it away glancing down to see Sang curled up into her side her head on James's chest. She couldn't help the slight twitch of her lips as she looked down at the blonde girl.

"My sunshine," She said sweetly placing a kiss on Sang's head.

Sang looked so peaceful here. Blanket's pulled up to her chin her hair a mess of blonde waves. Her lips parted ever so slightly. There was no worry about her mother, or her dad, or even Marie.

Sang looked content.

James moved slightly careful as possible not to shift the girl beside her too much as she squirmed out of bed. The moment her feet hit the marble floors she shivered wiggling her toes.

She carefully and quietly moved to grab her jeans from the previous day. Sliding off the sweatpants she borrowed from Blake and putting on her pants. Instead of rewearing her shirt, she decided to just keep the one she borrowed on. The long sleeve black v-neck wasn't anything too fancy.

With that, she shot one more glance at Sang before making her way down the steps. Her throat was dry and she was in desperate need of a glass of water. She silently moved down the steps, Blake's mansion was like a ghost town.

The others must still be completely knocked out.

It took her a little longer than she'd like to admit to finding the kitchen but to be fair they never got a tour of the place yesterday and she was a little out of it.

She was slightly surprised to see John Oliver sitting in the kitchen with his head in his hands. James's steps flattered slightly as she walked up to her friend.

A frown tilted at her lips as she glanced at him mouth popping open slightly. John Oliver had been there for her in more ways than she could count. It was time for her to step up for him. That was the whole point of the sleepover this weekend but given the fact they ended up higher than kites they didn't really get a chance for serious talk.

She moved over to the counter where he was sitting taking in his lean frame. He was wearing a big sweatshirt and a pair of Adidas joggers, his hands were in his hair his elbows on the table, glasses slightly askew.

James bit her lip glancing around the room eyes latching on to a familiar pair of car keys that were sitting in front of John Oliver.

"Let's go for a drive," James's voice must have surprised him because John Oliver jumped so high she almost laughed. Almost.

"What?" He questioned nose scrunching up slightly.

James smirked, "Me and you. A car. On the open road." She swept a hand across the air winking at him, "breeze blowing back our hair music filling our ears."

John Oliver giggled slightly his head tipping, "Sure. I could go for a drive." he agreed standing up and toying with the car keys. "I'll even buy you breakfast."

"A real gentleman," James hooked her elbow with his own as she placed a kiss on his cheek. "How kind of you."

He smirked as he lead her out of the massive house and out the door. The pair were silent on there feet as he easily lead her to his car. A whistle escaped her lips as she took in the impala. It really was a beauty.
